ABC ‘General Hospital’ (GH) spoilers reveal Selina Wu (Lydia Look) has become a more regular presence in Port Charles of late. From the beginning of the Five Families thing that led to a deadly explosion, we’ve questioned Selina’s motives. There’s just a vibe about her that leaves us wondering when the ax is about to fall on someone. And now, we’re seeing her do something we don’t think Sonny will approve of. Here’s what you need to know.
ABC ‘General Hospital’ Spoilers: Nice act?
First, ‘General Hospital’ spoilers reveal Selina has been very helpful at times. She gave a warning to Carly Corinthos (Laura Wright) and Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) after their wedding that saved their lives—and led to eliminating some of the challenges to Sonny Corinthos’ (Maurice Benard) organization. Was that a genuine moment, or a way to ingratiate herself for a future power play when the organization was viewed as vulnerable? We won’t know, likely, because Sonny returned, alive and well and is back in charge.
Later on, we were pleased to see her defend Sasha Gilmore (Sofia Mattsson) after her on-air breakdown. However, while it seemed she might have good motives there as well, we also think it was largely motivated by her stake in Deception. And now, she’s done something we can’t really say has a good motive to it.
ABC ‘General Hospital’ Spoilers: Vulnerable
Recently, Selina approached Glady Corbin (Bonnie Burroughs) and invited her to those poker games. You know, the ones with huge buy-ins. We believe this is a setup, designed to bilk a lot of money out of a guardian who is apparently not thinking very clearly. If she was, Gladys wouldn’t have entertained the idea of getting involved. There’s no way she has more money than Sasha, whose funds Gladys is now in control of. And given Sonny’s conversation with Sasha, we think he’s still on the fence as far as whether this arrangement is a good one.
ABC ‘General Hospital’ Spoilers: What’s next?
So, what do we think is ahead? ‘General Hospital’ spoilers indicate, despite the story Michael Corinthos (Chad Duell) has devised in his own mind, Sonny does very much care for and value family. And he obviously considers Sasha to be a part of that. So if Gladys goes through with this game and loses money that belongs to Sasha, he’ll be furious when he finds out. Especially when he learns his associate is the one who’s responsible. That’s can’t bode well for their continued partnership. And there’s no way to bosses won’t get ugly after things go bad between them.
