ABC ‘General Hospital’ (GH) spoilers reveal the truth is now out: Willow Tait (Katelyn MacMullen) is, in fact, Nina Reeves’ (Cynthia Watros) daughter. Recently, Carly Corinthos (Laura Wright) had the results in hand. However, her actions prove that she has learned nothing from the whole Nixon Falls mess. Here’s what you need to know.

We’ve made no secret of where we stand. ‘General Hospital’ spoilers reveal Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) went through a crazy situation that clearly had to impact him mentally. However, we’ve seen little recognition from those closest to him that he may need help. No compassion for someone who was living a whole other life for however long the writers are saying on a particular day.
It’s gone from nine months to six out of nowhere, but the result is the same. He’s likely confused and dealing with trying to merge the man he was with the man he became in Nixon Falls. The problem is, one person closest to him can’t acknowledge her own part in this situation.

Now, we’re not saying Carly deserved to grieve Sonny all that time. ‘General Hospital’ spoilers she had a lot to deal with because of that. However, Carly still doesn’t show any remorse for her own part in things. She doesn’t really even acknowledge she had a part in it, but she did.
Nina only left town because Carly hid the truth about Nelle Benson (Chloe Lanier). And she did it with the help and support of Jasper Jacks (Ingo Rademacher). You know, Nina’s boyfriend at the time. That was a harsh betrayal, especially following what Valentin Cassadine (James Patrick Stuart) did.
So, she helped contribute to the messed-up state of Nina’s mind. Then, she made it worse. When Nina called to tell her about Sonny (almost immediately after seeing him), Carly went on the attack and wouldn’t let her get a word in. The fact Nina called to tell her something is not even registering in Carly’s head.
We’re not even going to get into the justifiable anger over the Sonny situation when Carly was against Nina having anything to do with her grandson from the beginning. She inserted herself into the situation from the beginning and wasn’t very welcoming before she had a real reason to be angry.

So, we’ll give Carly credit on one thing. When she lied about Nelle, she did have good intentions behind it. The problem is, keeping that secret backfired horribly and now Carly’s ready to do it all again. She knows now that Nina is Willow’s mother. But, she lied to Drew Cain (Cameron Mathison) and said the test was negative. Once again, she’s got good intentions behind it. She feels it would be devastating to Willow to learn the truth.
However, the truth usually comes to light in these things. Considering how the first lie worked out, we can’t expect this one to have a better result. And we’re sure Carly will find a way to be the innocent victim in this one as well. Again, we’re not saying she deserved what happened with Sonny. But she did have her part in it, and she’ll contribute to whatever disaster comes of this as well. But we’re sure she’ll be immediately forgiven, unlike others…
