ABC ‘General Hospital’ (GH) spoilers reveal Michael Corinthos (Chad Duell) was supposed to be the ‘good’ one. However, ever since Nixon Falls in particular, Michael’s been becoming a different person. And we believe that person is heading for disaster in every way. Here’s what you need to know.
ABC ‘General Hospital’ Spoilers: Hate leads to the dark side
So, ‘General Hospital’ spoilers reveal Michael was been anything but a good son to Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) since his return. The fact Sonny wasn’t out to destroy Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros) should’ve proved to the family Sonny was a changed man.
And might have needed some help getting his obviously conflicting emotions in check. However, Michael has instead decided to go anti-Sonny, especially after the testimony at the visitation hearing. This has led Michael to a potentially dangerous decision.
ABC ‘General Hospital’ Spoilers: Set up
Now, Sonny has been clear that Michael is off limits. In fact, ‘General Hospital’ spoilers reveal that when Selina Wu (Lydia Look) asked about the new Harbor Master and the problems with Corinthos Coffee, he declined to name Michael. However, we haven’t trusted Selina from the moment she first started getting more screen time. There’s a tone in her voice and something in her mannerisms that makes us think she’s not to be trusted.
Now, if business becomes too complicated for her and Sonny is unable to resolve these issues, how long until she decides to take matters into her own hands? She won’t have the same mercy in her that Sonny does. He apparently didn’t think, either, of what happened in Sonny’s absence.
Things got more dangerous for his family and Sonny is what keeps Port Charles free of drugs and other such things. So, what happens when/if Sonny’s business is destroyed? Or it comes out that he knew Michael was messing with his business and did nothing?
ABC ‘General Hospital’ Spoilers: Elsewhere
Now, it would be easy to say that Sonny’s betrayal has Michael seeing red where his father is involved and clouding his judgement as to the wisdom of waging war. However, Sonny’s not the only one Michael is being unfair to. He’s also doing a number on Ned Quartermaine (Wally Kurth).
We already pointed out how problematic is has been for him and Drew Cain (Cameron Mathison) to dare decide about the future of ELQ without Ned and the rest of the family being involved. But he took it a step further.
It’s been no secret Ned wasn’t willing to take the COO job they offered after he called them out for their actions. ‘General Hospital’ spoilers reveal Ned wanted more and Michael wanted to hear what that was. Well, we believe the offer to share the position and divide up responsibilities by strengths with each being accountable to the others was more than fair.
And Michael should have been all for it. However, he was less than enthusiastic and claimed he didn’t believe Drew would be. How would he know for sure without actually asking? And the call he placed to what we assumed was Drew, in our opinion, misrepresented their talk.
It seems like Michael’s at a point where he’s angry at the world and doesn’t care who he’s hurting right now. He’s not thinking of fairness and transparency with Ned, compromise, or the potential consequences of a war on Sonny.
Which could come back to hurt his mother and sisters, not to mention the position it could put Dante Falconeri (Dominic Zamprogna) in. We think he needs to take a step back and re-evaluate his life and choices. If he continues of the path he’s on now, he could destroy his life and others’ as well.
