ABC ‘General Hospital’ (GH) spoilers reveal we got cheated on the 2016 Nurses Ball. While we saw the full event for other years, it looks like we get only a single episode for this one. ABC ‘General Hospital’ Spoilers: Cheated
We figured something was off when the episode started with a performance instead of the red carpet. We’ll take a moment to mourn the lack of snarky commentary from Brad Cooper (Parry Shen) and Britt Westbourne (Kelly Thiebaud). They’re truly a great team. Anyway… we were right.
According to the guide, this is the only 2016 episode we’ll be getting. Tuesday, June 2nd, the action moves forward to 2017 for the rest of the week. Except for Friday, when we move forward again to 2018. We’re hoping they surprise us by throwing in something older rather than play 2019 after, but we’re not gonna bet on it. So, what were some of the highlights of the episode? We did love Ned Quartermaine’s (Wally Kurth) performance of “Don’t Go Breaking My Heart” alongside Search Results Web results Emma Scorpio-Drake (Brooklyn Rae Silzer). And the brief scenes with Robin Scorpio-Drake (Kimberly McCullough) were a fun flashback. Most of our few memories of watching the show as a kid center around her stories.
In other highlights, ‘General Hospital’ spoilers reveal the residents of this city had enough. After seeing Liesl Obrecht (Kathleen Gati) highjack the spotlight the past couple of years, the streak ended. Lucy Coe (Lynn Herring) promised there will be no show crashing this year. This was apparently guaranteed by tying Liesl to a toilet and gagging her. It was a moment that gave a much-needed laugh, as was Liesl’s outfit. She’d apparently planned “The Sound of Music” for this year. We approve. Hopefully, we see her do that performance at some point.

A sad moment came when we learned Brad and Lucas Jones (Ryan Carnes) were supposed to marry on stage at the ball. It was the beginning of a union that would later end over the baby swap exposure. In an ironic twist, Bobbie Spencer (Jacklyn Zeman) said something about what she’d do to Brad if he hurt Lucas. She had no idea…
ABC ‘General Hospital’ Spoilers: Connections
Speaking of Bobbie, her part in this episode was fainting. When she came to, Lucas insisted she go to the hospital over her protests. We’re left to look it up to find out, but we’re guessing this moment ties into to Bobbie’s later diagnosis with Type 2, as well as Epiphany Johnson’s (Sonya Eddy) recent confession to having it as well. She helped Bobbie get perspective about looking out for her health risks.
In another moment, we watch Carly Corinthos (Laura Wright) on the warpath with Ava Jerome (Maura West). We got to see the blackmail she employed to get custody of Avery. Port Charles just can’t play nice when kids are involved…
