ABC ‘General Hospital’ (GH) spoilers reveal this throwback to the 2018 Nurses Ball is getting real. It also shows a pattern, as well as a history longer than we realized when we first joined in. It also gave us major nostalgic vibes. Let’s take a look at some highlights and connections.

    ABC ‘General Hospital’ Spoilers: Throwback

First of all, we loved Wally Kurth’s (Ned Quartermaine) performance. But don’t we always? His are some of the best of the ball. The 2018 performance was no exception, as he took the stage with Olivia Quartermaine (Lisa LoCicero) for a performance of “(What’s so funny ‘bout) Peace, Love, and Understanding?” He did great with it, and the song really took us back. We spent a lot of time as kids with the oldies station on the radio, and definitely feel a connection to that era of music. But we also used to love the version of this song The Party recorded. It’s on their album, In the Meantime, in Between Time. This full of energy number was a great, happy start to an episode that also brought some sadness.

ABC ‘General Hospital’ Spoilers: Sad moment

Namely, seeing Oscar Nero (Garren Stitt) again. Knowing this was both his first, and last, performance at a ball brought some feels. And we loved the song they played. It took on such a different meaning knowing the future that waited for them. It was also nice to see a little bit of happy and normal surrounding him. It was also great to see Billy Miller back as Drew Cain, and we’re hopeful that there will be a great return story one day. Hey, it’s a soap, right? Anything can happen—especially with no body.

ABC ‘General Hospital’ Spoilers: History repeats

As for other ‘General Hospital’ spoilers, this day also showed us a bit of a pattern with Alexis Davis (Nancy Lee Grahn). Watching her reaction to overhearing Hamilton Finn (Michael Easton) declare his love for Anna Devane (Finola Hughes). It shows she really can’t pick a man and should probably just stay single.

As with her latest upset, mostly brought on by Sam McCall (Kelly Monaco) calling her out as a coward, in 2018, Alexis also found herself at a bar. Only this time, she was drinking club soda and called out Finn’s worry. Almost feels like foreshadowing of her recent slip.

ABC ‘General Hospital’ Spoilers: Long story

Finally, ‘General Hospital’ spoilers indicate this thing with Peter August (Wes Ramsey) has gone on a long time. Back in 2018 Port Charles, they were just putting the pieces together about Peter’s true identity. And Sam and Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) were leading the “bust Peter” charge then, too. Is this episode possibly a hint he’ll be facing the music when they get back into production? We’ll have to wait and see.
