‘General Hospital’ Spoilers: Jack Promised Carly She Wouldn’t Lose Another Child
He may soon realize he made a huge mistake. Recently, Carly Spencer (Laura Wright) expressed to Brennan that she couldn’t live through losing another child.
Carly and Jack were at Bobbie’s diner, and she opened up to him about Maxie Jones (Kirsten Storms) and her heart attack.
Carly explained to him how she and Maxie share a special connection. Her mom, Bobbie Jones’s (Jacklyn Zeman) young daughter, B.J. Jones (Brighton Hertford) gave her heart to Maxie after she had an accident and was rendered brain-dead.
She shared with him that she couldn’t imagine what Felicia Scorpio (Kristina Wagner) was going through.
Carly told him that nothing was more important to her than her children. She told him she couldn’t bear the idea of losing another child.
She mentioned that she hadn’t heard from Joss and wanted to wrap her arms around her daughter. When Jack hugged Carly, he assured her that she would never have to worry about that.
The look on his face was one of guilt and regret. We have to wonder if this leads to him ousting Joss from the WSB.
Brennan sent Joss and her handler, Vaughn (Bryce Durfee), on a dangerous mission in Croatia at the Five Poppies resort, where their aliases were as newlyweds, Mr. and Mrs. Nash.
She’s a junior agent who received very little training before her first assignment for the WSB. Brennan admitted to Anna Devane (Finola Hughes) that he recruited Joss.
‘General Hospital’ Spoilers: Brennan Put Joss In Significant Danger
Brennan told Anna that Joss was special, with the instincts and drive to pursue justice that would make her a good spy. Anna warned him of the inevitable repercussions when Carly finds out.
Jack recruited Joss after her boyfriend, Dex Heller (Evan Hofer), was killed by Cyrus Renault (Jeff Kober). Brennan left her breadcrumbs to collect the evidence she needed to prove Cyrus’s guilt.
Joss followed those spidey senses, which led her to Cyrus’s cabin, where the killer found her and tried to attack her with an axe.
Carly’s daughter’s quick thinking saved her own life as she shot and killed Cyrus in self-defense. Jack helped Joss cover up the crime.
Impressed by Joss’s steely determination, Brennan offered her a position in the WSB, and she accepted.
Now Joss is in significant danger. Brennan didn’t anticipate that her and Vaughn’s covers would be blown, and they would encounter assassins on their pretend honeymoon.
Joss had to shoot an assassin to save Vaughn’s life, which is now her second kill. She’s traumatized by the experience, and the danger isn’t over.
Joss is just a newly minted agent. She wasn’t prepared for this kind of life-threatening peril. Jack may realize he made a mistake and kick Joss out of the WSB.
Brennan is in love with Carly and saw firsthand how she would feel if anything ever happened to another one of her children.
After losing Morgan Corinthos (Bryan Craig), it would be almost impossible for Carly to recover. Hopefully, Jack figures out that recruiting Joss wasn’t a wise idea before Carly discovers her daughter is a spy.
