General Hospital spoilers for Monday, August 4 reveal Josslyn Jacks (Eden McCoy) sets the stage for her temporary exit. Meanwhile, Ava Jerome (Maura West) is falling into the trap. Plus, Brook Lynn Quartermaine (Amanda Setton) gets put on the spot. Here’s what you need to know.
General Hospital spoilers for Monday, August 4: Setting the stage
First, General Hospital spoilers reveal Joss tells Carly Spencer (Laura Wright) she’s leaving. We assume she’s going to make the excuse she and Jack Brennan (Chris Mckenna) discussed last time. However, it looks like she’ll add to the scenario. In the promo, she talks about how putting distance between “us” would help her figure out what she wants.
She’ll likely try to head off Carly’s scrutiny of her so-called romance with Vaughan (Bryce Durfee) by pretending she’ll use this time to decide if she wants any kind of connection to him in the future. We would assume that will go one of two ways in the future.
One, either she’ll come back and double down on her relationship to cover their proximity to each other. Or, she’ll end up claiming she’s done with him while the pair meet discreetly about their missions and Carly is none the wiser.
General Hospital spoilers for Monday, August 4: All according to plan?
Elsewhere, Ava makes a proposal. This will be to Alexis Davis (Nancy Lee Grahn). Looks like Kristina Corinthos-Davis’ (Kate Mansi) plan is working. It seems Ava claims she wants to do Alexis a big favor. Might she be trying to cut Ric Webber (Rick Hearst) out of the scheme? We’ll see.
As for Kristina, she is upping the ante on her plans for Ava and Ric. In the preview, she asks Cody Bell (Josh Kelly) if he’ll do something for an extra 10,000 dollars. We have a feeling he’ll give in.
General Hospital spoilers for Monday, August 4: No pressure…
Finally, General Hospital spoilers reveal things are about to get complicated for Brook Lynn again. Harrison Chase (Josh Swickard) will tell her they can’t move forward with an adoption unless she works things out with Giovanni Palmieri (Giovanni Mazza). There could be a good reason for this. It seems Chase runs into Gio, and this encounter could make him feel they need resolution. This might just be his way of pushing Brook Lynn to take a first step.
We think it’s nice that he wants to help her resolve things with her son. But it is putting a lot of pressure on her and she might not be able to work things out any time soon. It’s not like Gio has any reason to want to listen to her, and he is really the one who is keeping the distance between them.
