‘General Hospital’ Spoilers: Shiloh Archer: Ladies Man
‘General Hospital’ (GH) Spoilers finds that Pentonville is a place for Port Charles’ most hardened criminals, but could it also be a place for lonely hearts? Food for thought, while Shiloh Archer (Coby Ryan McLaughlin) and Nelle Benson (Chloe Lanier) are in there for the long haul, it seems.. or are they?
Shiloh’s been cooking up a scheme to spring himself from Pentonville for awhile, and Nelle is probably itching for a chance to get back to her son, little Jonah Corinthos (AKA: Baby Wiley Cooper-Jones), and Shiloh also seems a bit lovelorn. After all, he first fixated on Sam McCall (Kelly Monaco) and still seems to have a bit of a thing for Willow Tait (Katelyn MacMullen), and its unknown whether or not he actually got with the former DA, Margaux Dawson (Elizabeth Hendrickson) seeing as she was one of the member of the ‘trust’ at DoD. (And this was during the whole sex scandal thing.)
‘General Hospital’ Spoilers: Nelle Benson, Misunderstood single Mom
Nelle however, seems to be hung up on Michael Corinthos (Chad Duell) but we both know that he’s moved on to girls a bit more on the up-and-up, Sasha Gilmore (Sofia Mattson) for instance. The worst she would be wanted for is fraud instead of straight-up cold-blooded murder. This probably won’t set well with Nelle and she’ll probably have a meltdown (or worse, target Sasha) when she realizes that, for real, Michael wants nothing more to do with her. But once all is said and done, who, on a bad day, could relate to all the bad things that Nelle has done and then some?
‘General Hospital’ Spoilers: Why this pair would work
There’s also the fact of the matter that Shiloh has ELQ shares, which means money to spare and Nelle would certainly be attracted to that. She has a way of winding powerful men around her finger (Michael, Sonny, etc.) and convincing them to do her bidding. Well, some men, at least. Valentin certainly couldn’t be won over, in fact he told her that if any harm came to his daughter Charlotte that no one would ever be able to find her body and I’m pretty sure that he could and would follow through on that threat! However, unlike Valentin, Shiloh is in a way more vulnerable place.
Both are probably the most hated people in Port Charles, Nelle managed to tick off one side of the Corinthos Clan while Shiloh managed to tick off the other side. Both have committed murders before, and both have a single burning flame that they would rather be reunited with and who would rather watch them burn. (Actually, in Shiloh’s case that could be several burning flames, he seemed to want to be a ladies man.) He and Nelle could potentially have a lot in common. Shiloh has things that Nelle wants, ELQ shares, and Nelle has the one thing that Shiloh wants – access to baby Wiley Cooper-Jones. Even though she gave him up, she is his birth mother and Shiloh seems to want a son.
‘General Hospital’ Spoilers: Happily (N)Ever After?
So if the two escaped together and kidnapped little Wiley Cooper-Jones (perish the thought, seriously.) then they could be on their way to a happily ever after if things went according to plan. Nelle could have the money that she always wanted and Shiloh could get to raise a child that he had delusionally thought was ‘his’. However, let’s hope for little Wiley’s sake that these two never get that far in their plotting, he has a great family right now and doesn’t deserve that.
Besides, I’m pretty sure Grandpa Julian would hunt them both down if anything like that happened, and if DNA test results come into play then we’d have Grandpa Sonny to worry about and look at what happens to people that tick him off for dropping coffee beans – do we really want to know what would happen to the person who’d kidnap his Grandson?
