‘Seeking Sister Wife’ spoilers find that another woman, once involved with the polygamist reality star, has alleged that Dimitri Snowden was abusive towards her. Now she, and many fans of the TLC reality series, want to see Dimitri behind bars and not on a television show.
Before Seeking Sister Wife became ‘a thing’, actress Ariadne Joseph met Dimitri in an online polygamists’ group. After talking on-and-off for years, Ariadne agreed to fly with her 3-year-old daughter to Georgia, where Dimitri lived with his wife Ashley and their children.
After their ‘courtship’, Ariadne became a sister wife to Dimitri and Ashley Snowden. That is until they both allegedly abused her.
Ariadne claims include being choked, cheated on and raped by Dimitri. Ashley was also an accomplice in the “terror”.

Worse still, Ariadne says she brought these allegations to TLC executives’ attention while season two (heralding the Snowden’s first appearance), making them aware of the couple’s manipulation and assaults.
Perhaps if TLC had listened, instead of continuing to use the Snowdens on their show, Vanessa Cobbs, Tayler Middleton and Christeline Peterson wouldn’t have the almost exact same story to tell.
Christeline , featured in season 3 of the reality series was the first to take out restraining orders against the Snowdens- citing abuse. After the orders were dropped, due to Christeline being unable to meet her burden of proof, the South African mom of two went into hiding with her “traumatized children”.
Around this time, Tayler and Vanessa both showed their support for Christeline, offering subtle nods of corroboration with her story of being abused in a similar fashion to Ariadne. Both women posted purple hearts- the symbol for abuse survivors.
Vanessa, also an actress by trade, was featured on season two of Seeking Sister Wives. Though she ‘married’ into the Snowden family, by the time the “Tell All” came around, Vanessa had decided to leave the polygamists. Her reasoning for the split was vague to say the least and it wasn’t long before she hopped a plane to Australia.
Yep, halfway around the world ought to do it.
While Vanessa has remained rather quiet in the wake of new allegations, Tayler- who was being courted as a sister wife to the Snowdens at the same time as Christeline (they are both on this current, airing season)- threw subtly to the wind.
In May, shortly after Christeline’s allegations of abuse were brought to light, Tayler posted a photo of a garbage can to her social media, captioning the post with “Sick of fake news. Sick of the lies. I’m nobody’s enabler. Throw the whole show away. #SeekingSisterWife.”
Several more hashtags were added to the post, including #BanTheShow, #PullTheFamily, #QuitEnabling, #CANCELSeekingSisterWife, and #ThisShitIsSick.
While Tayler has since removed her post, Ariadne is not quieting down so easily. Not only did she set up a GoFundMe for Christeline, she continues to spill Snowden tea left and right, giving examples of the abuse she endured; like being put on house arrest and being forced into depraved sex acts.
“They’re never as happy as they are when they’re terrorizing someone,” Ariadne said of both the Snowdens. “They gang up on you.”
The actress went on to say she continually personally begs TLC to stop filming with Dimitri and Ashley, hoping to strip her abusers of their fame and platform and their TLC paycheck. However, its evident TLC haven’t listened…to Ariadne or fans of the show.
It is unsurprising, seeing as the Duggars are still bankrolled by TLC (though Josh Duggar, charged with heinous child porn crimes, has not been filmed since new broke that he sexually abused his sisters).
Most recently fans of 90 Day Fiancé have started the hashtag #CancelBigEd after hearing a leaked phone call where he severely verbally abused his (now ex) girlfriend, Liz.
Even this past Sunday Angela Deem crossed a line of verbal abuse (after sexually harassing her surgeons) that had viewers outraged…yet no one will be surprised to see her pop up on future seasons.
TLC has taken steps to remove Geoffrey Paschel from the 90 Day franchise, after fans showed outrage at his lengthy arrest record- most specifically his charges of abuse and kidnapping his ex. Questions arose as to how Paschel made it on the show in the first place.
Ariadne is desperate to have the Snowdens removed from their show, also.
“They allowed this piece of s**t to be on this damn show, and they continue to abuse, and misuse, and traumatize women,” Ariadne continued her tirade against the Snowdens who, it is important to note, have never been charged of any crime. Ariadne believes that should, and will, change.
“There’s a lot more to these situations, and I believe that it’s going to become public. The world’s going to find out the truth. All of the truth — ALL OF IT. It’s time. It’s time. Somebody has to stop this.”
Along with Ariadne’s desire to have the Snowden’s, specifically Dimitri brought to justice, TLC viewers have started a petition to have Seeking Sister Wife canceled.
The petition reads (in part): “The show, ‘Seeking Sister Wife’ is complicit in the continued abuse perpetuated by Dimitri and Ashley Snowden…The Snowdens seek out women to control and abuse.
Since TLC was alerted of their behavior well before season 3 began taping, they are complicit in the abuse of Christeline. This show should be taken off the air and TLC should have to answer for their inaction.”
