ABC ‘General Hospital’ (GH) spoilers reveal Britt Westbourne (Kelly Thiebaud) has become a favorite of ours. And we think the actress is really stealing the show lately. Let’s talk about her recent performances and where we think her current circumstances are leading.

First of all, we have to talk about Britt’s recent diagnosis. She learned she has the marker for Huntington’s, and it hit the character hard. But Thiebaud has done a great job or balancing Britt’s devastation with her tough exterior that tries to hold back. But she had something better coming.

We were hoping for a bit of happy around here. ‘General Hospital’ spoilers indicate it’s sorely needed. And we thought a light romance between Britt and Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) was on tap. Wrong. Instead, the pair are over before they really got going.
Britt didn’t take the news he was marrying Carly Corinthos (Laura Wright) well. It’s mostly Jason’s fault. If there was anyone he should have opened up to, it should have been Britt. They were starting a romance, and she had the right to know the truth. Instead, he only gave her part of the story, leaving Britt feeling used and hurt.
It was a great moment, though, performance-wise. Her pain and anger was obvious as she told Jason to get going. She showed a strength and toughness we admire, but also balance.
Later on, she’d have a scene with Bradley Cooper (Parry Shen) that left us laughing and hoping for more bestie moments between them. And we think that’s the whole package right there. But where might this current situation lead?
ABC ‘General Hospital’ Spoilers: The future?
Obviously, Britt’s long-term future is a question mark. She doesn’t know when symptoms will begin to show themselves. She just knows they will. However, there’s a more immediate situation.
Last we saw her at GH, there was a question over whether Britt would remain Chief of Staff. Terry Randolph (Cassandra James) threw her hat into the ring when she learned the position wasn’t set in stone, thanks to all the recent changes at GH. So, now Britt is facing a terrible illness, heartbreak, and this.
We think the Jason thing will light a fire in her. She won’t want to lose anything else, so she’ll go all-in to make sure she keeps her job. And, as we mentioned before, we think she’s earned it. So we don’t expect her to give this up without a fight.
How far will she take it? Well, considering she told Jasper Jacks (Ingo Rademacher) she’s ready to be selfish and look out for #1 again? We think she’ll go pretty far. Terry better hope she’s ready for a fight, because the Britch definitely seems to be back.
