ABC ‘General Hospital’ (GH) Spoilers tease that Willow Tait (Kaitlyn MacMullen) had an emotional breakdown on Friday due to learning about the death of her infant son, the real baby Wiley Cooper-Jones on that night that Brad Cooper (Parry Shen) and Lucas Jones (Ryan Carnes) took him home. Our hearts broke as she screamed for her son and bewailed the fact that he had no one around that loved him when he passed, and she blamed Brad for not protecting him like he should have – although that’s really not Brad’s fault because the child had SIDS and no one can fight against that, at least not yet.
ABC ‘General Hospital’ Spoilers: Displaced anger will find its target
But while Willow’s initial anger may be directed at Brad, she’s going to realize soon enough that Nelle Benson Archer (Chloe Lanier) is the one that put this entire plan into motion. She is the last one that held the real baby Wiley Cooper-Jones after he died, and she is the one that is trying to take away little Jonah Corinthos (Erik and Theo Olson) now, Willow’s already lost one child that she didn’t get to bond with. She’s not going to let Nelle have another child that she’s already maternally bonded with. Biological Mom or not, Nelle may be about to face her doom at the hands of a very mentally fragile Willow Tait.
ABC ‘General Hospital’ Spoilers: Nelle’s not going to get away that easy
Yes, Willow went to grief counseling last year, where she met Michael Corinthos (Chad Duell) and it could be argued that she should be over it by now but losing a child is something you never quite get over. Also, Willow didn’t think she actually lost a child to death, she thought she just gave up a child for adoption so that it could have a better life and not be raised by a meglomaniacal cult leader like Shiloh Archer (Coby Ryan McLaughlin). She had no idea that her child had actually died and that she would never see him again in this life. She spent this entire time thinking of little ‘Wiley’ as her baby and she bonded with him like a Mom, but now… there’s a chance that he could be taken away by the she-devil that is Nelle.
ABC ‘General Hospital’ Spoilers: Willow will sacrifice everything for Wiley
That will happen over Willow’s dead body because she has proven time and time again that she has a Mother’s love for the child. She has been instrumental in protecting him from Shiloh when she thought that he was the Father and I have no doubt that she would possibly give her life to protect him from Nelle. The thing is, Nelle is an actual killer, she has killed two grown men, so will Willows’ rage-filled crazy even stand a chance against this cold, calculating predator of a woman? Well, we can all hope. Even if the threat of Nelle isn’t entirely eliminated we at least know who to root for during the inevitable fight that will ensue. Which I’m actually looking forward to.
ABC ‘General Hospital’ Spoilers: Battle of the Mama Bears
How will it happen? Probably, Nelle will try to abduct Wiley again and Willow will be the one to catch her. Willow will probably be the only one that will be able to stop her because maternal instinct goes a long way in these types of things. There will be an epic struggle because we’re dealing with two Mama Bears. One is Nelle, an insane woman who has never gotten the chance to bond with her son, the other is Willow, a woman who will do anything to keep the bond with the baby she has viewed as her son alive. Who’s to win? Well, experience wise, the fight could go to Nelle, but..
ABC ‘General Hospital’ Spoilers: And the winner is…
Willow’s wound is still fresh. Willow just got her heart ripped out and she’s liable to do anything. She would do anything to protect Wiley, the baby she’s already bonded to, and let’s face it, to Nelle little Jonah is just a trophy because he is a Corinthos. It’s a way for her to get Michael back and not really because she loves him but just because she wants him, more like a possession than anything. To Nelle, people are more like possessions, not actual people. Willow at least treasures the people in her life, especially baby Wiley. So the battle will be close, but I think I’ll have to give the winning of the war to Willow. Will Nelle end up dead? Jury’s still out on that one, but she may have a hell of a near death experience – stay tuned!!! For any other soap opera and entertainment news, please visit Daily Soap Dish.
