General Hospital Willow Tait Michael Corinthos

‘General Hospital’ (GH) spoilers finds that it’s rare that we get to see what an actor thinks about one of their character’s personal choices, but Carolyn Hennesy (Diane Miller, GH), recently sat down with ABC Soaps in Depth to detail why she loved defending Katelyn MacMullen’s character, Willow Tait.

“I’ve always loved pulling a tumor out of a mayonnaise jar!” she declared gleefully, laughing as she referenced the time Diane Miller got Franco Baldwin’s (Roger Howarth) conviction overturned by bringing his tumor to court with her in a jar. But this time was different, for once, Diane was representing a plaintiff who was completely on the right side of the law! “It was great because I wasn’t defending  crazy, I was against a crazy! It was nice to be on the side of right again!”

Of course, that didn’t prevent Willow from ending up in jail for contempt of court when she didn’t reveal anything about Shiloh’s supposed ‘child’, but even with all of that, Hennessy says that she’s a much better client that Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Bernard) or Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) tend to be – and that’s saying a lot. “Unlike everyone else I’ve ever defended, she actually listened to me.” said Hennessy, subtly throwing shade at Jason and Sonny, who, while I’m sure they have their own reasons don’t really have the best track record for listening when it comes to being clients. Poor Diane usually has her work cut out for her.

AS for what Diane may be up to next, Hennessy didn’t elaborate, but there’s a guaratee that she’ll be representing Sam McCall in the future since she is affiliated with Sonny and Jason, and let’s just hope the case works out in everyone’s favor because while we know that Sam didn’t do anything that wasn’t warranted, it looks like the judges aren’t so easily convinced.

There is also the stuff that’s going to hit the fan when Julian Jerome (William deVry) is found out to be the one behind the attempted murder of his own son, Lucas Jones (Ryan Carnes) but meant for his husband, Bradley Cooper! (Parry Shen), and finally when that’s over there’s going to be the trial of the century involving Michael Corinthos (Chad Duell)  vs. Brad, Julian, and arguably Nelle Benson (Chloe Lanier) over little Jonah Corinthos (Erik and Theo Olsen). We don’t know what sides she’ll pick, but it doesn’t look like Diane’s going to be running out of clients anytime soon! Stay tuned!!!
