‘General Hospital’ (GH) spoilers indicate that Sasha Gilmore (Sofia Mattson) has had enough. She recently came clean to Michael Corinthos (Chad Duell) about not being Nina Reeves’ (Cynthia Watros) daughter, something Michael did not take well. Where do things go from here? Here’s what you need to know.
‘General Hospital’ spoilers: Liars
Michael doesn’t approve of what Sasha did, nor is he happy about having another woman he loves turn out to be a liar. He, in fact, told Sasha they’re finished before he took off.
Later, he refused an invite to double date with Harrison Chase (Josh Swickard) and Willow Tait (Katelyn MacMullen), and basically admitted that things were bad. All indications are pointing to him and Sasha being done for good. But are they?
‘General Hospital’ spoilers: Big heart
We’ve already seen how Michael is a nice guy, and he’s also very level-headed. He recently counseled Josslyn Jacks (Eden McCoy) when her first day back without Oscar Nero (Garren Stitt) didn’t go so well, he’s got a history of doing good deeds as CEO of ELQ, and even agreed to visit Nelle Benson (Chloe Lanier) not long ago for their son’s sake.
Plus, he was planning to turn the former DoD house into a women’s shelter. Let’s also not forget how helpful he was to Kristina Corinthos-Davis (Lexi Ainsworth) during her DoD stint, and how he became a support system for Willow as well. This is a guy who seems to be the poster child for the boy scouts. We’re thinking that eventually, he’s going to take the circumstances into account and find a way to forgive her.
‘General Hospital’ spoilers: The road ahead
Not that this is all going to be easy. He does, after all, have baggage from Nelle. That type of thing isn’t always conducive to rational thinking. However, she does have a couple things that could potentially work in her favor.
One is, obviously, the fact she came clean to him. It was obviously not easy to do that, so Michael should (and most likely will) take that into consideration.
Two, she’s planning to tell Nina the truth. This is going to rock her relationship with Valentin Cassadine (James Patrick Stuart) and keep her from marrying a guy who scammed his way back into her life with a fake daughter. And if Nina Reeves learns the full circumstances and finds it in her own heart to be forgiving, it surely would make it reasonable for Michael to do so as well.
Finally, we’ve been feeling like this and the baby swap are going to be very connected for a while. After all, Liesl Obrecht (Kathleen Gati) is a major player in both of these schemes. If Liesl’s part in this whole thing is exposed as well, she might just spill the beans to win herself a few points. Liesl is definitely always looking out for #1.
Knowing Liesl, she’ll probably find a way to make herself as innocent-looking in this as possible. That is also sure to win her points with her own daughter, too. And if that all happens, Michael will be so happy to have his child back, that his POV might change regarding Sasha—especially since she’d essentially be the reason he has his son back, should things work out as it looks like they might.
