‘The Young And The Restless’ (Y&R) spoilers show that Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor) was reunited with his mother, Diane Jenkins (Susan Walters) after thinking she was dead for decades. He has had mixed feelings about the entire situation but feels like he needs to give his mother a chance… she is his mother after all.

However, Mariah Copeland (Camryn Grimes) tried to convince him to protect himself and not get too involved with his mother just yet. She’s untrustworthy and could hurt him again. He’s truly stuck between a rock and a hard place.

“Mariah tries to convince Kyle to protect himself and not get too invested with his mother just yet.”

Fans reacted to the moment saying, “Mariah is right. Diane should not be trusted. I love that scene today Mariah and Kyle. I love their friendship. Kyle should be very careful about what Diane is doing.”, “She does have a point, i wouldn’t trust her either”, “Don’t do it Kyle. Diane is up to something, and it is not going to be pretty. Think about her track record.”, “Kyle Keep Your Guard up When it comes to Your Mom”, “Stop the puppy eyes Kyle, Let your Mom go back to LA👋🏻”, and “I’m so sick of phyllis meddling and sticking her nose into everyone’s business. And all the rest of the hypocrites like niki who tried killing Victoria x husband playing innocent.”

It’s undeniable that Kyle will give his mother a chance. How could he not? She’s his mother and wants to try to prove herself. Even if it hurts him in the end, Kyle will absolutely give every chance he can to his own mom. It’s human nature, he wants to see the best in her.
