‘The Young And The Restless’ (Y&R) spoilers show that Susan Walters (Diane Jenkins) and Michael Mealor (Kyle Abbott) appeared in an exclusive interview on the Michael Fairman Channel to speak about getting their calls to come back and how it was coming back to the stage after all this time.
When appearing on-screen together, they think it went really well and working together for the first time together went about as well as it could especially when having very dramatic scenes together. “We really clicked,” Michael said about him and Susan.

Ironically, both Susan and Michael grew up in Atlanta! In fact, Michael was playing football against Susan’s kids and she joked that she was probably yelling at him while he was on the field. Little did they know years later that they would be playing on-screen mother and son!
The interview as a whole was very interesting to watch and I recommend checking out the entire thing. They talk a lot about what it’s liking coming back, Susan decades later and Michael just a year later and how they both kind of experienced the same things.
They seem to work well together and are even joking around with each other in such a fun way that it seems like they’ve truly become close. As Michael said, he’s always wanted a television mom and now he has one!
