It was a week of major wins, painful losses and a few surprising acts of redemption in Genoa City.
The battle for Newman Enterprises finally came to an end, but the fallout left several relationships hanging in the balance. While Victor got his company back, Phyllis found herself more isolated than ever. At the same time, Lily regained control of Chancellor, Cane continued rebuilding trust, and Nick took important steps toward reclaiming his own life.
If you missed any of the action, here’s a look back at the biggest moments from the week on The Young and the Restless.
Phyllis Finally Gives Newman Enterprises Back

After weeks of refusing to surrender, Phyllis finally accepted that her fight for Newman Enterprises was over.
Michael spent much of the week trying to convince her that continuing the battle would only make things worse. While Phyllis demanded guarantees from both Victor and Christine before agreeing to anything, it became increasingly clear that her options were running out.
The turning point came at the Newman Ranch when Victor finally admitted the evidence used against her had been fabricated. With Christine forced to acknowledge the truth, the path was cleared for Victor to regain control of his company.
For Victor, it was a victory. For Phyllis, it felt like losing everything she had worked so hard to build.
Victor Gets His Company Back — But Not Everyone Is Celebrating

The Newman family gathered to celebrate the return of Newman Enterprises with champagne and toasts, but the mood wasn’t completely carefree.
While Victoria, Nick and Adam were happy to see the company back where Victor believes it belongs, there was one obvious absence. Nikki wasn’t there to celebrate with them, and Victoria was quick to point it out.
The ongoing separation between Victor and Nikki continued to hang over the family all week. Nikki admitted she wasn’t sure their marriage could survive everything that has happened, while Victoria remained hopeful they could eventually find their way back to each other.
Nick Takes the First Steps Toward Recovery

One of the week’s most important developments involved Nick.
After nearly losing his life, he admitted to Nikki and Victoria that he had started attending rehab sessions and was committed to making sobriety his top priority.
Victoria was understandably skeptical given everything that had happened, but Nick didn’t shy away from responsibility. He acknowledged that he had lost control and understood that rebuilding trust would take time.
The storyline also highlighted the support system surrounding him. Nikki encouraged him to lean on the people who care about him, and even suggested he take Jack up on his offer to help.
For the first time in a while, Nick appeared focused on moving forward rather than looking back.
Daniel Isn’t Ready to Forgive Phyllis
If Phyllis expected giving up Newman Enterprises would instantly repair her relationship with Daniel, she quickly learned otherwise.
After meeting with her son, she proudly revealed that she had returned the company to Victor and hoped it would be the first step toward putting their family back together.
Daniel wasn’t convinced.
Rather than praising her sacrifice, he questioned her motives and wondered whether she had truly done the right thing or simply gave up because she had no other choice. To him, the bigger issue wasn’t the company itself. It was whether Phyllis had learned anything from the experience.
The conversation quickly unraveled, leaving Phyllis devastated and once again feeling like nothing she does is ever enough.
Sharon Offers Phyllis Something Unexpected
One of the more surprising moments of the week came when Sharon showed compassion toward someone who has spent years making her life difficult.
After her painful confrontation with Daniel, Phyllis found herself alone and emotionally exhausted. Sharon sought her out and offered support rather than judgment.
When Phyllis insisted she had lost everything despite doing what everyone wanted, Sharon reminded her of the woman she had seen during their captivity ordeal. The woman who refused to quit.
It was a simple conversation, but it may end up being important. At a time when Phyllis feels abandoned by almost everyone around her, Sharon was one of the few people willing to remind her that her story isn’t over yet.
Victor Finally Keeps His Promise to Lily

Now that Newman Enterprises is back under Newman control, Victor was finally able to follow through on a promise he made months ago.
Lily learned that Chancellor was officially being returned to her.
The moment was surprisingly direct. Victor had already prepared the paperwork and made it clear that he intended to honor their agreement.
For Lily, getting Chancellor back wasn’t just about business. It represented an opportunity to take control of her future again after spending months watching others fight over the company.
Not everyone agreed with Victor’s decision. Nick immediately questioned whether giving Chancellor away permanently could create even more tension between Victor and Nikki.
Cane’s Redemption Story Continues to Gain Momentum

No character may have had a better week than Cane.
Fresh off saving Malcolm’s life, Cane received another emotional boost when Mattie and Charlie reached out and referred to him as “Dad.” The message clearly meant a great deal to him and reinforced the idea that his efforts to change are finally being noticed.
His relationship with Lily also continued evolving. The two spent more time together, joked like they used to and appeared more comfortable with each other than they have in a long time.
Then came the biggest surprise.
After getting Chancellor back, Lily asked Cane if he would be willing to run the company for her. While she plans to remain the owner, she believes Cane is the right person to take charge of day-to-day operations.
Looking Ahead
With Newman Enterprises back in Victor’s hands, Chancellor back with Lily and Phyllis struggling to rebuild her relationships, several major storylines are entering a new phase.
Questions remain about whether Daniel and Summer will ever forgive Phyllis, whether Victor and Nikki can find their way back to each other, and what working so closely together will mean for Lily and Cane.
