‘The Young And The Restless’ (Y&R) spoilers show that Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) will be going to Los Angeles to check in on Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) for herself and run into an old memory that she never thought she would have to see again.

In the teaser for next week, Phyllis arrives at the house in L.A. and opens the door to find Diane Jenkins (Susan Walters) in the flesh and staring back at her. Diane half-heartedly jokes that she didn’t know Phyllis would be in town, and Phyllis replies, “I didn’t know you were alive.”

“See what’s coming up on The Young and The Restless.”

In a shocking turn of events, not only has someone come back from the dead, but now her biggest rival has come to town to confront her face to face and things are about to get crazy. I don’t think there will be a full-on cat fight in that home, but Phyllis looks like she is ready to take her down.

Fans reacted to the moment saying, “Diane & Phyllis Rivalry about to RE-IGNITE!!!!! 🔥🔥”, “All hell is about to break loose”, “Yassssssssssssss finally a villain!!” and “Remember Phyllis ran over Diane’s leg with her car.”

However, it looks like they want Diane to stay and become a regular again, but how are they going to make that work when everyone, EVERYONE, hates her? Is she really sorry about her actions and could we see the people of Genoa City, and Jack, actually forgive her?

Some viewers are worried that Jack and her could sleep together and potentially wind up together again! While I think that’s a bit of a stretch, it is odd how they’re writing Diane now.
