‘The Young and the Restless’ (Y&R) spoilers here and we’re ready to kick off a new week with some fun spoilery goodies to share.
Monday, October 21 looks like it’s going to be interesting with some of the usual decisions made.
At this point, we expect Lily Winters (Christel Khalil) to continue trying to prove herself until she goes down in flames.
In this case, she’s going to refuse Nikki Newman (Melody Thomas Scott)’s bribe attempt to ease her conscience.
She’ll also decline Devon Winters (Bryton James)’s offer to return to Winters once again.
While Lily continues to struggle to prove herself, Devov seems to have an idea on how to get some payback for his family.
He may prove to be a bigger headache to Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) than Victor ever expected.
‘The Young and the Restless’ Spoilers For Monday, October 21: Not backing down
‘The Young and the Restless’ Spoilers aren’t surprised Nikki’s conscience is bothering her. And we’re not surprised she’ll try to make things right with Lily as she’s been taught by Victor.
Unfortunately for Nikki, Lily won’t accept a pay raise to work under her because it’s not the position she earned.
Nikki will try to guilt her with talk of what Katherine Chancellor (Jeanne Fine) would want. When that fails and Nikki tells Victor, he’ll promise to make it up to Lily.
Basically, he’ll try to pay her off, and we expect Lily will accept that because Victor always gets what he wants. Or maybe this will be one of the few times he gets egg on his face?
‘The Young and the Restless’ Spoilers For Monday, October 21: Devon has a plan
Lily may not want any help, but it looks like she’s going to get some anyway. It’ll just wait until after Victor takes care of Devon and Abby Newman (Melissa Ordway)’s wedding.
To be fair, at least Lily is consistent as she’ll also turn down Devon’s offer to come back to Winters.
He doesn’t like what Victor’s doing and he and Nate Hastings (Sean Dominic) will agree both Victor and Billy need to be taken down.
This will put Devon at odds with Victor and put Abby in a very difficult position with her father. It’ll be interesting to see how she’ll react, and we expect she’ll side with Devon.
After all, Victor’s family knows he’s a manipulator and will sacrifice anyone to get what he wants. He’s done so with his family time and again.
He just knows how to manipulate everyone into wanting to be in his good graces so they stick around.
But he’s causing Devon’s family some issues now, and that should make things interesting.
