‘The Young and the Restless’ (Y&R) spoilers suggest that since Sharon Newman (Sharon Case) has killed Heather Stevens (Vail Bloom) and set Daniel Romalotti (Michael Graziadei) up to take the fall, she may not be redeemed.

‘The Young And The Restless’ Spoilers: Sharon Broke Into Daniel’s Home To Poison Him

Sharon knocked poor Heather onto the floor after the two of them got into a heated confrontation.  Sharon broke into Heather and Daniel’s penthouse to poison Daniel’s whiskey.

When she changed her mind and went to leave, she ran into Heather.   Of course, Heather was understandably shocked to find Sharon in their home.

Heather finds Sharon in her apartment

She made up a bunch of ridiculous excuses, but when Heather went to call the cops, Sharon freaked and tried to take the phone out of her hand, pushing her down.

Sharon passed out, and when she came to, Heather’s head was surrounded by a pool of blood. That’s when Sharon cleaned up the evidence and dumped Heather’s body into the river.

Sharon hasn’t been taking her bipolar medicine, and she’s lying about it to her family, including her ex-husband, Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow).

‘The Young and the Restless’ Spoilers for Friday, July 19: Nick is Caught Between Phyllis and Sharon; Claire’s Developing Feelings for Kyle and Victoria Urges her to go to Paris and Live

She’s been wandering around Genoa City talking to the dead man in her head, Cameron Kirsten (Linden Ashby), who’s been giving her instructions on “how to get away with murder.”

Sharon recently snuck into Daniel’s apartment again and hid the bloody towels and phone.  She placed them in the cabinet for the police to find, setting Daniel up to look guilty.

Sharon’s motivation is her desperation to get back the family she had when Cassie was alive, including Nick. Sharon’s hallucination of Cameron convinced her that the only way to reclaim her happy home was to murder Daniel. He also convinced her that Daniel deserved to die despite the fact that Cassie’s death wasn’t Daniel’s fault.

‘The Young And The Restless’ Spoilers: “Shick” Fans Might Not Get Their Reunion

Killing Heather may have been an “accident,” but the outcome was still the same. After the murder, she thought she could just return to her life of being a mom if she hid her crimes.

She’s already thrown herself at Nick with a romantic picnic for two in the park. And Nick didn’t pick up on the signals, and she sent plenty of them.

Sharon hides evidence at Daniel's house

When Nick learns that Sharon killed Heather and framed Daniel, he may not want anything to do with her. Nick may have initially blamed Daniel for Cassie Newman’s (Camryn Grimes) death. However, he came around and grew to care for Daniel, especially when he was married to Phyllis Newman.

We don’t know how fans still root for this couple if she really killed Heather. She framed Daniel for the murder. The only way Sharon could be redeemed is if somehow Heather isn’t dead and she survived her journey into deep waters.

We’re not saying we could overlook Sharon’s actions. Still, Sharon and Nick fans would likely forgive her if she took responsibility for her crime. She then goes to a psychiatric facility, and will go back on her medicine.

'The Young and The Restless' Spoilers

That being said, once our girl Phyllis Newman (Michelle Stafford) discovers Sharon’s involvement in Heather’s death and her son’s inevitable arrest, there may not be a “Shick” reunion after all.
