‘The Young and the Restless’ Spoilers here and we’re ready to close out this week in style and share some fun spoilery goodies and dive into the best comedy show around.
The episode for Friday, April 17 looks like it’s going to be an interesting one as we delve deeper into the looking glass.
Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) and Nikki Newman (Melody Thomas Scott) will discuss making their partners jealous.
It’s their nuclear option since Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) will go nuclear.
They’ll hit a snag when Victor arrives and Diane Jenkins (Susan Walters) ambles in after some insults. She’ll side with Victor, saying he’s a better judge of Jack’s character than she is.
Nuke away!
Meanwhile, Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) will call Chelsea Newman (Melissa Claire Egan) using the supply closet’s phone since Matt Clark (Roger Howarth) took theirs.
While she’s rescuing Adam and Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow), Matt will use Nick’s phone to text Sharon Newman (Sharon Case).
He’ll say he has Matt and she should come if she wants to see him go down. So, she and Noah Newman (Lucas Adams) will head to Vegas.
Funny thing is, while Nick and Adam stress over not being able to call Sharon and warn her. Guess they forgot the hotel and Chelsea have phones.

‘The Young and the Restless’ Spoilers are wondering if we’re supposed to laugh or take this storyline seriously.
Matt locked Adam and Nick in a supply closet and took their phones. Makes sense.
But then the supply closet has it’s own phone and Adam calls Chelsea to come and find them, which she does.
This will give Nick a chance to take some pills, and then they’ll fret over not being able to call and warn Sharon.
Um, Chelsea has a phone and so does the hotel. Maybe that’s too high brow for this crew?
We are so disappointed in Adam and Chelsea. They used to be fun characters.
‘The Young and the Restless’ Spoilers for Friday, April 17: Sharon takes the bait
Whelp, it was only a matter of time until Matt used Nick’s phone. He’ll text Sharon that he captured Matt and she should come to see justice done.
Sharon and Noah will jump at the chance and head out without a second thought.
This is after they worried about Nick disappearing and Noah claimed he should’ve gone to end Matt.
They won’t worry about calling Chelsea or Adam to find out what happened. That would make sense and poke yet another hole in this woe-be-gone storyline.
‘The Young and the Restless’ Spoilers for Friday, April 17: Diane goes full idiot
Jack and Nikki will try to come up with a way to win back their spouses when Victor wanders in to gloat and mock them.
It’ll be the usual exchange between he and Jack until Diane arrives. When Jack tries to talk to her, she’ll refuse to bother and claim Victor knows Jack better than her.
When Jack’s hurt, she’ll be happy he gets to experience the betrayal and pain he inflicted on her.
At some point, it’d be nice for the show to recognize men can be victims too. Just imagine if this was Diane or Nikki.
But then we wouldn’t enjoy a laugh like we are now. It’s some of the best comedy on TV.
