‘The Young And The Restless’ (Y&R) spoilers show that Lauren Fenmore (Tracey Bregman) has given Summer Newman (Allison Lanier) some advice about how to calm down her mother, Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford), and it may single-handedly be the worst advice we’ve ever heard.
While Diane Jenkins (Susan Walters) is trying to make amends with people in Genoa City for the sake of her son, Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor), Phyllis has been on a warpath to try to take her down and get even with her after all these years. Summer, on the other hand, is tired of it and wants peace. Phyllis isn’t ready to back down though.

Summer has been trying to get through to her mother, and now with the advice from Lauren, there are bound to be sparks flying between Diane and Phyllis. No way Phyllis will be willing to try to bury the hatchet. Fans reacted to the moment saying, “Sorry Lauren but your advice wasn’t too smart.🤔 Phyllis won’t believe nothing that comes out of Diean’s mouth because she’s already manipulating Jack & Kyle.”, “So lauren is going all over town with her tricks. She knows darn well Phyllis and Dianne won’t mix.”, and “oh boy its about to get intersting.”
Meanwhile, Phyllis is going commando trying to do whatever she can to get even with Diane, especially after Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) dumped her for being so confrontational with Diane. Summer is grasping for straws at this point, and may just have to realize that her mother is going to do what she wants.
