‘The Young And The Restless’ (Y&R) spoilers show that while Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) has been successfully turning his life around and turning down temptation at every turn from Sally Spectra (Courtney Hope). However, there’s still one boulder that’s been dragging him down. His own father, Victor Newman (Eric Braeden).

While Victor has stood up for him a few times, now he doesn’t seem to care if Adam is part of the business or not and doesn’t care if Adam maintains his position in the company. Adam has been juggling so much at the same time, but Victor keeps topping him over.

Adam could be very successful now on his own, and he doesn’t need to be staying at the Ranch with his child. Victor claims he loves him more than anything, but really Victor still and always will only care about his business, ask his daughter Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle).

I know some fans aren’t going to like this take but Victor isn’t the best anymore and it’s time to pass the torch. If he’s not going to willingly pass the torch on, then Adam should leave the company, maybe take his employees like Sally, Chloe Fisher (Elizabeth Hendrickson), and even Chelsea Lawson (Melissa Claire Egan) with him.

Better yet, let Adam and Sally be together, start their own thing together, and live on without Victor in their lives controlling every aspect of what happens.

What do you think? Should Adam leave the company and break away from his father? Does Victor control his children too much? Let us know in the comments below.
