‘The Young And The Restless’ (Y&R) spoilers show that with Summer Newman (Hunter King) leaving for Italy after being forced out by Sally Spectra (Courtney Hope) and Tara Locke (Elizabeth Leiner) and a contract expiring for Michael Mealor (Kyle Abbott), the show will be down two very important roles.
With several other actors retiring from the show over the last year, there’s plenty of storyline room and places for other people to step up in. We suspect that we could see fan favorites Chloe Fisher (Elizabeth Hendrickson) and Kevin Fisher (Greg Rikaart) get more screentime. Or even introduce new characters.
‘The Young And The Restless’ Spoilers: Could We See Theo Vanderway (Tyler Johnson) Return To Genoa City Soon?
However, I think one character they should bring back to Genoa City is Theo Vanderway (Tyler Johnson). While he was here, we couldn’t stand him, but that means he was doing his job well. He was supposed to be despicable with a sort of boyish charm.
Last we saw, Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) gave him a company in Paris to run so he would stop antagonizing his family.
Over the last year or so, Theo could have matured a great deal, and bringing him back to Genoa City could give it just the boost it needs. A young, successful businessman with a boyish charm? Kind of like Kyle Abbott, right?
I was one of the few who enjoyed Theo’s character when he was still in Genoa City. He was troubled but still retained enough to make people care. He wasn’t perfect, and that’s what made him interesting. That’s just my opinion.
