Things are looking tense for Chantel Everett and Pedro Jimeno from The Family Chantel on TLC. As the new season has just begun, the couple has officially filed for divorce and they also have restraining orders out against the other. Just when we thought this was all of the drama, it turns out that Chantel may have taken a lot of money out of their joint accounts before he left.
The Family Chantel: Pedro Consults Judge For Money
Pedro has told fans that he has tried to work through all of the issues that he is having with Chantel. Because they couldn’t work things out, he went to a judge and forced her to get money out and transferred it to him until they settle the divorce. The judge ended up denying him this request and they will have a trial to work this out. He is now asking for half of the assets that they have between them.

This case is one of a kind, for sure, but their lawyers have seen things like this before. Chantel‘s lawyer hasn’t made a comment about the case as of yet, but fans of the show think that the reasoning is because we will see this unfold this season and they all have to keep their mouths shut because of NDAs with the network.
We have already started to see the signs of their breakup this season. Chantel has accused him of cheating on her with a coworker and they are very disconnected. Many fans feel as if this breakup should have happened a long time ago, but the couple did try to work things out before. There are so many differences between the two of them and sometimes, there is nothing left to give.
Their fans have been pulling from them for years, but this time it looks as if they are really splitting up. The divorce is in the process and we are not sure when it will be finalized. We hope to see more of the split play out on the show and to finally understand if Pedro has been cheating or not. We are ready to see this explosion happen on the show!
