’The Family Chantel’ spoilers find that it has been some emotional episodes that have aired these past weeks when Pedro Jimeno finally met up with his half-brothers for the very first time.
Or so TLC led viewers to believe.
The emotional storyline that outed Pedro’s high and mighty mother, Lydia as a “side chick” her whole life had The Family Chantel fans hooked from the start. They cried with Pedro when his mother declared that Pedro and sister, Nicole were “mistakes” and felt the love when Pedro sat down with his half-brothers Junior and Johnathan.

Now these same fans feel duped as a photo has surfaced of Pedro, his half-brothers AND Nicole AND Chantel. The photo is from approximately 8 years ago!
The post was lifted from Pedro’s half-brother’s wife, Wilka’s IG (which is now private) and posted to Reddit before ending up on several 90 Day fan Instagram accounts.
Fans are understandably outraged as the family photo, posted in October 2014 shows that the entire storyline, including that of Nicole discussing with her full brother, Pedro that she had no intention of discovering more about the father that was absent 90% of their lives, or to meet up with the family he abandoned them for, is completely fabricated. At the very least it was a very convincing reenactment of what may have happened a decade ago.
“Holy cow!!! This is crazy!!!! Thank you to the sleuth who found this!!! This is gold & I feel deceived AF”, one fan wrote while another said she was suspicious all along, writing, “Wow i knew it. It was the way everyone seemed rehearsed especially Chantel 😮😮😮”
This isn’t the first time TLC has been accused of faking storylines to create drama and viewership, but it is one of the most blatant “gotcha” moments to date.
The Family Chantel airs on TLC on Mondays at 9pm ET
