‘The Bold and the Beautiful (B&B)’ spoilers find that it is time to say goodbye to Zoe Buckingham (Kiara Barnes), a character that has polarized audiences from the beginning as portrayer, Kiara Barnes wraps up her soap tenure and moves to ABC’s primetime Fantasy Island in just over one week’s time.
Zoe’s final scenes on the Bold will soon air as a certain scandalous secret comes to light. We imagine Zoe will split town once she learns of her fiancé’s dalliance with a married woman…but then, after we learned Vinny Walker (Joe LoCicero) jumped in front of Liam Spencer’s (Scott Clifton) car in the name of Thope love, any catalyst behind Zoe’s departure is possible.
‘The Bold and the Beautiful’ Spoilers: Before we say our goodbyes, let’s take a stroll down Zoe memory lane.
We first met Zoe in 2018 when she followed her ex, Xander Avant (Adain Bradley) from the UK to the steps of Forrester Creations. Apparently Zoe is an artist and British- two traits you’d never guess if tuning in to the show today.
Splitting her time between conversing with her cat (R.I.P Harry) and threatening Xander’s new girlfriend, Emma Barber (Nia Sioux), Zoe got her big break when a Forrester creations model was unable to take the runway and beanpole Zoe donned the showstopping number. A star was born and women everywhere realized stalking does pay off.
After a good tug-of-war with Emma, (R.I.P Emma) Zoe won Xander’s heart but she barely had time to wolf down some Thanksgiving turkey at the Forrester mansion and lose her British accent before her father, Dr. Reece Buckingham (Wayne Brady) showed up.
Then ensued the year-long (though it felt like five) Baby Beth saga.
Unable to relieve this dark time in B&B world, we’ll blow over it and just say the Forresters and Logans accepted Zoe back into the fold, even though she kept the secret that her father had sold Hope Logan’s (Annika Noelle) baby to Steffy Forrester (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood).
Xander, however, skipped town and Zoe and Thomas Forrester (Matthew Atkinson) got into some sort of truly bizarre fake relationship that turned into an even stranger engagement.
When that failed, Zoe decided to keep climbing that Forrester ladder and moved on to newly minted C.O.O. of Forrester Creations Carter Walton (Lawrence St. Victor).
Unfortunately Zoe’s head was turned by newly single and back in town Zende Forrester Dominguez, and we mean unfortunately because we were all forced to watch Zoe’s seriously cringeworthy, failed seduction of that ole Forrester cache…er, Zende.
Carter found out, dumped Zoe and the world got to see that St Victor isn’t a terrible actor, there was just zero chemistry between he and Barnes.
Carter and Quinn Forrester (Rena Sofer) however, burned the house down with their smolder but after their torrid affair went back to their respective partners.
With their cover story, that Carter and Shauna Fulton (Denise Richards) had a short lived affair beginning to crumble, we only have 7 (week) days until things begin to blow up and Zoe peaces out forever (or until Barnes decides to return or the character is recast…seriously she could be back a month from now…we honestly know nothing of what’s going on in head writer Bradley Bell’s mind)
