‘The Bold and the Beautiful (B&B)’ spoilers find that everyone’s favorite doctor- John ’Finn’ Finnegan (Tanner Novlan) is finally getting a backstory…or at least parents!
Coming to L.A. (separately…hmmmm) to meet their to-be-daughter-in-law and in utero grandson are Jack and Li Finnegan, the first sign that Finn wasn’t created in the same factory as the Fauxpe doll.
‘The Bold and the Beautiful’ Spoilers: Two Soap Alums Joining Cast As ‘The Finns’
Yes, Steffy Forrester (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) and Bold fans everywhere- it’s time to meet the parents (cue the ominous music).
Ted King and Naomi Matsuda, both with soap credits to their names will soon make their ‘Bold’ debuts as parents of Dr. Perfect and (according to head writer, Bradley Bell) to “expose Finn’s very dramatic backstory.”
King, who soap fans may recognize from his General Hospital roles as brothers, Luis and Lorenzo Alcazar or in One Life To Live as Tomas Delgado, will be seen on screens as of Friday, July 30.
Matsuda was last seen by daytime fans in Salem as Tori Narita. Though she was only on Days of Our Lives for twelve episodes, her storyline was explosive…Tori had given birth to (and raised to adulthood, solo) Paul Narita (Christopher Sean) the love child of the myth, the man, the legend– John Black (portrayed by equally mythical, manly, legendary Drake Hogestyn).
Matsuda as mother, Li will debut on Monday, August 2.
The casting comes as a surprise to fans who are left scratching their heads, wondering about all the teasers indicating that Finn’s mother (whose ring he used to propose to his now fiancé, Steffy) was already known to Bold audiences.
We suspect all will be revealed, and soon, along with that all important and much needed third dimension – added to the hot Doc who, currently, can do no wrong.
