‘The Bold and the Beautiful’ (B&B) spoilers find that Ridge and Brooke have easily become the most hated couple on viewers’ screens of late. With no scheming cheating or fighting going on in their own lives, head writer, Bradley Bell has taken the once poplar pair down a truly infuriating path- acting holier than thou and scolding others after inviting themselves into a business that is not theirs.
Last week Ridge took it upon himself to not ‘drop it’ when it came to his father, Eric Forrester’s (John McCook) deal with wife Quinn Forrester (Rena Sofer). Instead of listening to Quinn, or Carter Walton (Lawrence St. Victor) or his own dad, Ridge took it upon himself to try and expel Quinn from his father’s home.
‘The Bold and the Beautiful’ Spoilers: Ridge Forrester (Thorsten Kaye) And Brooke Logan (Katherine Kelly Lang) Won’t Know Whose Business To Butt Into First
Viewers finally got a reprieve from the McJudgertons for about 10 minutes before Hope Logan (Annika Noelle) revealed she was in touch with her fresh-out-of-prison dad, Deacon Sharpe (Sean Kanan). Unable to see anyone else’s point of view, Brooke and Ridge again spewed their big ole loud opinions and accused Deacon of manipulation his daughter into allowing him back into her life, no matter how much Hope tried to express how she felt about her choice to get in touch with her jailbird dad.
Ridge has at least taken a break from inserting himself into daughter, Steffy Forrester (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) and Dr. John “Finn” Finnegan’s (Tanner Novlan) marriage woes…but that is all about to change now that Sheila Carter (Kimberlin Brown) has a new partner in crime in Deacon. Spoilers say the two villains will indeed team up as Sheila is suggesting to get access to their (adult) children (who should be able to make their own decision as to how much contact they have with their parents, but you know…Foresters)..no matter what damage they have to cause on the way.
Will Bell and his writers find something more exciting, and less infuriating for Brooke and Ridge to do now that Deacon and Sheila are teaming up or will the couple simply have more people to spew their hypocritically, ivory tower judgment all over? Please let it be the former…audiences are CLEARLY over the McJudgey-Pants twins.
What do you think of the direction Ridge and Brooke’s characters have been going? Do you cringe each time they are on the screen, too?
