Let’s just say that there wouldn’t have been an Archie or a Lilibet. That, and there’s a good chance that Meghan Markle wouldn’t have stuck around as long as she has. Here’s everything you need to know about the Elizabeth Arden cream that helped save Prince Harry’s penis after it was frostbitten during his trek around Antarctica. Keep reading below.

In his book Spare, Prince Harry admits that his royal jewels (if you know what we mean) were left frostbitten following his trip to the North Pole in March 2011. Things were so bad for Harry that he was still in major discomfort down there when he attended Prince William and Kate Middleton’s royal wedding in 2011.

Here’s Everything You Need To Know About The Elizabeth Arden Cream That Saved Prince Harry’s Penis

Harry writes in his book, “Pa was very interested, and sympathetic about the discomfort of my frost nipped ears and cheeks. While the ears and cheeks were already healing, the todger wasn’t. It was becoming more of an issue by the day.”

Harry said that one of his friends gave him the Elizabeth Arden ointment in the hopes that it would give him some relief. “‘My mum used that on her lips. You want me to put that on my todger?’” Harry recalled asking his pal, to which they responded, “‘It works, Harry. Trust me.’”

He continued, “I found a tube, and the minute I opened it, the smell transported me through time. I felt as if my mother was right there in the room.”

Despite all of the awkwardness of Harry having to use the cream on his penis, he also said that the Elizabeth Arden product has been a royal favorite for many years. First created in 1930, even Queen Elizabeth used it twice a day as a moisturizer. Elizabeth Arden herself first used it on her child’s grazed knee and managed to heal it eight hours later.
