Meghan Markle Confident That Harry Can Win A Grammy For His Audiobook Version Of Spare-‘Meghan Thinks He’s Up There With President Obama’
According to a source, the Duchess and her team are certain that he will win the Grammy for Best Spoken Word for the audiobook version of his memoir, ‘Spare’, at the upcoming ceremony.
During the audiobook, Harry sings a few lines from Elton John’s Your Song when he talks about the memorial show that occurred on the 10th anniversary of Princess Diana’s death.
A source stated the following: “It was Harry’s decision to sing Elton John’s song in the audiobook. Who knew he could sing? Meghan thinks he’s up there with President Barack Obama, who won the same award a few years back.”
Meghan has given Harry a great deal of praise, but she has kept out of the spotlight while he has been engaged in the lengthy promotional activities for the book that was published on Tuesday, 10th January 2023.
Among the numerous media appearances he has made, Harry had a sit down with Anderson Cooper for the CBS’ 60 Minutes program and also appeared on the Late Show hosted by Stephen Colbert.
The Duchess of Sussex was last seen in public with Prince Harry in December when they journeyed to New York to accept a prize, the Ripple Hope award, for their stance against ‘institutional racism.’
But if Harry were to win a Grammy, there is no doubt that Meghan would make an appearance too. The response on social media, however, was scathing. A significant proportion of people could not see the Duke of Sussex winning the award.
And in fact, they began to ridicule him instead. One person wrote: “His voice is very soothing. The content is very boring and it could be used to help treat insomnia,” while another person stated: “He speaks like he still uses crayons to draw pictures.”
