Fans of So You Think You Can Dance were shocked to find out that Matthew Morrison had been fired from the show. There have been many rumors about what happened and even Morrison and his wife opened up that this was all because of gossip and lies. No matter what the case may be, the show knew that they needed to find a replacement judge and now Leah Remini is the one.

SYTYCD has grown in popularity and fans love to see the judges just as much as the dancers. This season’s judges are JoJo Siwa, Stephen Boss, and Leah Remini. Remini opened up to her fans, ” I am thrilled to join So You Think You Can Dance on its milestone 300th episode. I look forward to guiding these incredibly talented artists through this competition as a fan of the show and a great admirer of dancers. I can’t wait to see the artistry that the contestants bring to the stage.”
So You Think You Can Dance: Leah Remini Steps In To Replace Matthew Morrison
Fans of the show may remember Remini from The King Of Queens and the docuseries, Scientology and the Aftermath. She was consumed in the religion for many years and she felt that it was the reason for her rise to fame. Little did she know, the Church of Scientology had an agenda all its own.
There are still fans that have decided to boycott the show because of how Morrison was fired. The producers stated that he was fired for “failure to follow competition production protocols.” Morrison told his fans, “After filming the audition rounds for the show and completing the selection of the 12 finalists, I did not follow competition production protocols, preventing me from being able to judge the competition fairly. I cannot apologize enough to all involved and I will be watching alongside you all on what I know will be one of the best seasons yet.”
No matter what happened, fans of the show are very excited about what is to come this season. There will be a lot of wonderful talent on the show this season and we are very happy to see it coming back. With the new judge now lined up, it looks as if the show will be one for the record books!
