Simone Ashley and Jacob Elordi raised a reaction from the fans after they refused to do a live TV interview, while they were in attendance at the Monte Carlo Grand Prix.

Simone, for her part, is well aware of what it takes to be on camera after having starred in the hit show ‘Bridgerton.’ Much in the same way, Jacob is also well accustomed to this after having rose to prominence in HBO’s ‘Euphoria.’
Although that may have been the case, both were not keen on doing any media. In the clip here, we can see that former racing driver Martin Brundle approaches Simone for an interview. In her presence, there is Jacob too. As Martin proceeds to get an interview, a member of Simone’s team denies Martin.
Her representative is heard saying: “She doesn’t want to do any TV,” to which Martin replied: “She doesn’t want to do any TV? Well, we’re kind of halfway there already. It’s so good to see her on the grid. I’m not going to push, but I’d like to have a chat with you. That’s fine, whatever.”
That was clearly not Martin’s finest moment, given that it was on live television. But the response on social media was quite divisive. A certain subset of people were of the view that Simone was in her right to turn down the media. After all, she was there to see the race.
Meanwhile, others were of the view that she was very disrespectful and could have easily spoken for a short time. One person wrote: “She wasn’t paid to give interviews, she was paid to show up. So respect her right to say no.”
While another person stated: “Who? And why does she need a bodyguard, some people just reek self importance.” Hopefully, all the sides involved enjoyed the event. But perhaps next time, Martin will not hang around too long to get an interview. So there you have it folks.
