Robert Hardman, Royal biographer, speaks out on Prince Harry and King Charles’s relationship and reveals why the monarch can’t reconcile with his son if he continues with his legal dispute.

Harry Believes The King Should Intervene In His Legal Battle For Security

Prince Harry was interviewed by the BBC yesterday, and the Duke said that his father “doesn’t speak to him,” but he’s not truthful about why.

Harry believes the King should intervene in his legal battle for taxpayer-funded security. However, Robert Hardman, author of Charles III: The Inside Story, said that Harry thinking his father could help him is illogical.

Robert Hardman wrote about Prince Harry visits the king and offers to pick up the slack while he and Kate can't work

According to the royal expert, the King can’t speak to his son about the legal dispute because Charles is the “fountain of justice” in the UK.

The King’s courts determine legal power and authority. Charles is “the figurehead of the legal system,” and Harry’s fight takes place in the monarch’s courts, so any intervention from Charles would be seen as inappropriate.

Robert Hardman continued to explain that if Charles involved himself in the row, it would lead to a

    “serious constitutional issue.”

    Hardman told MailOnline,

“Under our legal system, the monarch is the source of justice. It’s why when you go into the courts, there’s the King’s coat of arms above the judge.”

    He asserted,

“The monarch is the basis of justice in our system. You can’t have the head of the judiciary getting involved in a court case. It’s as simple as that.”

During the interview, Harry made it seem like the King could “arrange” for the level of security he wants when he comes to the UK, which couldn’t be further from the truth.

Harry Thinks Of Himself As A Matter Of National Security

Harry also seemed somewhat detached from reality. He thinks he needs security with guns and whined throughout the interview that he can’t bring his family back to the UK, yet no one is stopping him.

He thinks of himself as a matter of national security, and that isn’t the case. The UK government can’t just pay for his security when he doesn’t work for them or contribute to the institution anymore. He doesn’t even live in Britain. Therefore, the UK government has no legal obligation to pay for Harry’s security.

The government also can’t allow him to pay for police protection, as it would look like they allow rich people or celebrities to “buy” security when the police are supposed to work for the people. RAVEC is looking at the situation logically, but Harry is looking at it emotionally.

Prince Harry did two tours in Afganistan

During the interview, Harry references his two tours of Afghanistan and said that he did “35 years of service in my country.” So, according to Harry, when he was a toddler, he was “serving” the UK?

In Harry’s mind, he believes this makes him entitled to taxpayer-funded security. He doesn’t come from a place of humility and comes off as spoiled and entitled.

Harry Is Delusional And Detached From Reality

Hardman also makes this observation about Harry:

“He believes the Royal Household is completely poisoned against him. This is where you get the conspiracy aspect, you could even argue there is a fantasy aspect of it.”

The royal biographer goes on to say,

“He believes that there are very maligned forces out to get him or out to get him and his family. He believes that some want him to be in a vulnerable state.”

It’s highly upsetting to King Charles for Harry to speak publicly (to the British press he supposedly hates) about his legal case and insinuate that his father doesn’t care about him or his family and refuses to fix this for him.

Harry is delusional about his security situation, and it’s frustrating that he’s manipulating those in the public sector, like many people in the US, who don’t understand the rules of the monarch and the extreme level of what he’s demanding of the UK government and his father.
