Prince Harry’s immigration files were unsealed and made public on March 18th to reveal heavily redacted documents due to efforts to avoid unwanted media attention.
Prince Harry Is Being Protected From Unwanted Media Attention
The six documents that were released contained countless pages of blocked-out type to protect Harry’s privacy.
The Heritage Foundation has been trying to prove that the Duke of Sussex received special treatment when he filled out his immigration paperwork to move to the US.
Harry admitted in his memoir, “Spare,” that he had used drugs to cope with the death of his mother, Princess Diana.
According to his book, he divulged that he used marijuana, cocaine, and magic mushrooms. If Harry mentioned this on his visa application, he would have been denied entry into the US, which is why the conservative think tank has sought to uncover the truth.
Chief FOIA officer at the Department of Homeland Security,
Jarrod Panter claimed,
“To release such information would potentially expose the individual to harm from members of the public who might have reason to manipulate or harass individuals depending on their status in the United States.”
Panter denied that Harry had received preferential treatment due to his royal status. The DHS aims to protect Harry from media harassment.
The heavily redacted files summarized why there was “not a strong enough public interest argument” to leak the information.
A group behind the visa lawsuit claims that Harry hates America and should self-deport. Samuel Dewey, a lawyer with the Heritage Foundation, purports that Harry was livid over the US voters who voted for Trump.
Dewey said Harry should leave the country if he disapproves of the choice of the American people who voted Trump into office.
The Heritage Foundation Wants Trump To Release Prince Harry’s Records
The redacted documents have provided the Heritage Foundation with a new theory that Harry was in the US on a 0-1 visa, which is known as “the artist visa,” and they think he lied about his drug use on the application.
The artist visa allows people with “extraordinary talent” to come into the US on a faster timeline. ASSHORI Law.com explains that
“The artist visa is a dual-intent visa, so you can intend to remain in the US temporarily and simultaneously have the intent to possibly immigrate to the US and become a lawful permanent resident in the future.”
The first lawsuit that Heritage filed lasted for two years until yesterday when six heavily redacted documents were released. A second lawsuit has been filed.
Apparently, the redactions are the result of the Biden Administration’s softball approach to Harry’s court case. The administration shielded Harry from potential deportation.
The Heritage Foundation requests that President Trump release the records. He should live up to their declarations of complete transparency in the new administration.

Prince Harry and his wife, Meghan Markle, moved to the US after stepping down as working royals in January 2020. They live in Montecito, California, with their children.
Trump previously claimed he “wouldn’t protect Harry” because he hurt the Queen, Harry’s grandmother, the late Queen Elizabeth II.
After taking office, Trump said he wouldn’t deport Harry
Because,
“He has enough problems with his wife; she’s terrible.”
