Prince Harry is set to make another overseas trip, but no, it’s not back to the U.K. Instead, the Duke of Sussex will be visiting Holland and just in time for the 2023 Invictus Games, too. Of course, a lot of people can’t help but wonder: will Meghan Markle be joining him for the trip as well?
As many fans can recall, it was the 2017 Invictus Games in Toronto where Harry and Meghan stepped out as a couple for the very first time. Here’s what you need to know.
Prince Harry Set To Visit Holland – But Will Meghan Markle Join Him?
According to new reports, has been brushing up on his Dutch ahead of the Invictus Games, which is due to take place in The Hague next month. A video shows Harry learning the language and wearing an entirely orange outfit, getting in the spirit for his trip to the Netherlands in a few weeks. The video comes after it was confirmed Harry will miss his grandfather the Duke of Edinburgh’s memorial service at the end of this month.
The Games, which start on April 16, will come a few weeks after Prince Philip‘s service of thanksgiving in the U.K., which, as ET previously reported, Harry will not attend. Of course, a lot of royal fans back in the UK are quite upset that Harry will be missing his grandfather Prince Philip’s memorial service.
Prince Harry has made it clear that he doesn’t plan on visiting the UK anytime soon simply because he fears for his safety in his home country. This comes after an incident that occured in which he was chased by paparazzi during his last trip home during the summer of 2021. Harry was on hand to reveal a statue of his mother Princess Diana at Kensington Gardens alongside his brother, Prince William.
