Who needs the royal family when you can spend your life in America driving around a car that’s the shape of a hot dog? Apparently, Prince Harry, who was once a key member of the British Royal Family back in the day, was given the keys to Oscar Mayer’s weinermobile.
In fact, the Duke of Sussex admitted that he was living the “American Dream” after his ride in the car. Here’s what you need to know.
Prince Harry Just Got The Keys To The Wienermobile
Harry made the revelation during his speech at the 2021 Salute to Freedom Gala honoring vets in New York City this past week. He told the audience that he had nothing but praise for the “value” of service members and their families.
“It’s wonderful to be back on USS Intrepid a decade after my last visit – and a lot has changed since then. Just last week, I went for a ride on the Oscar Mayer Wienermobile – how’s that for living the American dream,” he told the audience at the Intrepid Museum.
“I’ve lived in the US for close to two years now. I have to say, witnessing your support for all those that put themselves in harm’s way in defence of our freedoms and liberties – it’s remarkable and hugely respected,” he continued. “It reminds me of the deep reverence us Brits have for our military as well. The armed forces communities in both our countries share a special bond, and I’m grateful to have served in support of our joint allyship for many years.”
Many royal critics commented on the matter with, “Harry’s not living the American dream. Harry hasn’t a clue what “the American dream” is. He’s a pampered, whiny, whipped little boy,” along with, “Living the American dream thanks to conning various companies out of their millions. The dream most Americans can’t afford.”
