Anne Heche was involved in a horrific crash with a California home and while she lays in a hospital bed in a coma, could be drug down more with legal trouble as she’s under investigation for a felony DUI. LAPD says that they have upped the investigation into the felony because the woman inside of the house that Anne crashed into claims she was injured and suffered cuts that required medical treatment.
Police believe that Anne was under the influence of drugs and/or alcohol at the time of the incident as she was driving recklessly. Before Anne even ran into the home, she hit a garage and a parked car!

The cops also took note of a photograph of Anne just before the car crash as there appears to be a bottle of alcohol in the front cup holder of the car.
Anne is still fighting for her life as she lost consciousness shortly after the crash and has been in a coma since. While we hope she is able to pull through and make a full recovery, it doesn’t excuse the fact that she was driving like a maniac and it’s a miracle that no one else was killed.
Before she crashed into a parked vehicle and garage, there is also surveillance cam footage of her speeding through what looked like an alleyway, nearly missing someone who was walking by on the sidewalk. This was moments before the fiery explosion.
As her car began burning, Heche was pulled from the car and placed onto a stretcher. The car was left in a smoldering pile of metal and car parts after the incident.
After the incident went public, ex-girlfriend Ellen DeGeneres was seen walking down a sidewalk before being mobbed by a reporter asking if she knew anything about Anne or if she had spoken to her. While Ellen seemed very cold about the situation and responded a bit bitterly, we can also understand being mobbed on the street and asked about an ex’s possible drug-fueled car accident.
