Anne Heche’s condition is critical after having gone into a coma in the aftermath of her car crash.

According to reports, the actress was involved in a car crash on Friday, 5th August 2022. During the course of that process, she allegedly crashed into a million-dollar home. Subsequently, she was taken to hospital and was intubated, while the authorities tried to determine the cause of the crash.
As of now, the police have apparently gotten a warrant to test the star’s blood and determine whether she was driving under influence. But in the meantime, things are not looking good.
In an official statement on behalf of Anne, a representative said the following: “Shortly after the accident, Anne Heche became unconscious, slipping into a coma. She has a significant pulmonary injury requiring mechanical ventilation and burns that require surgical intervention.”
Things could only get worse depending on the outcome of the blood results. If it does transpire that the star had been driving under influence, then she could face some charges. After all, reports indicated that there may have been the presence of a bottle with a red cap in the car, but this has not yet been substantiated.
But in any event, things could get serious. In an official statement on behalf of the Los Angeles Police Department, a spokesperson remarked the following: “If found intoxicated, [Heche] could be charged with misdemeanor DUI hit and run. No arrests have been made so far.”
The fans on social media had a lot to say about the matter. And as a result, they started to become worried about Anne’s state of mind. One person wrote: “Looks suicidal to me,” while another person stated: “Such a shame.”
