Paris Hilton is getting a lot of heat and the wrong kind. The socialite is being called an idiot for supposedly frolicking around Maui with her family even though the island is being ravished by wildfires right now. But is the criticism really fair?
Paris Hilton Called An Idiot For Vacationing In Maui
According to Page Six, the socialite is being called out for spending her vacation in Maui amid the deadly fires. She was spotted enjoying a beach day with her husband, Carter Rum, and their young son, Phoenix.
The two looked like they didn’t have a care in the world as they shared kisses while Paris was holding their son. They looked rather relaxed and like they were truly enjoying themselves during their Hawaiian vacation, despite all of the wildfires that were happening only a few short miles away.
And while Paris is being called an idiot for being in Hawaii during this natural disaster, some people think that the criticism is uncalled for.
For now, Paris and her family are safe and there are parts of the island that are not affected by the wildfire. A lot of people pointed out that the local mom and pop businesses need people like Paris HIlton to continue traveling to the island for the sake of their economy.
So, is it really fair to call Paris Hilton an idiot? Not really. If she were truly in danger, there’s no doubt that the people around her would advise her not to travel to Hawaii at this time.
But there are a lot of people that need celebrities and tourists like her to help sustain their economy. It’s a double-edged sword if you will.
Paris And Her Family Are Supporting The Local Economy
But then again, this isn’t the first time that Paris has been called an idiot. She’s been called plenty of things in the past because of her supposed blonde bimbo persona.
But the former reality television star has proven that she’s anything but stupid. Unlike some other celebrities, she’s actually in a good place in her life right now. She’s got her husband and her baby and a happy family life.
She’s also on vacation in one of the most beautiful islands in the world. And we have a feeling that she is going to continue to support Hawaii for as long as she can.
