‘The Young and the Restless’ Spoilers: Struggling with fear
Y&R’s Sharon has just been throu’Tgh a harrowing experience with Cameron Kirsten (Linden Ashby). He came back into her life after getting out of prison. He started sending her creepy gifts that reminded her of him. Then he tried to get back into her life by kidnapping her daughter, Faith Newman (Reylynn Caster). Cameron wanted Sharon to run away with him.
When Sharon and Nick found Faith in the sewer system, Cameron was ready for them. He grabbed Sharon and held her at knife point. He told Nick to choose who would die. Faith had explosives strapped to her and he had Sharon in a death grip. Nick stalled, not knowing how to answer Cameron. While he did, Sharon was able to get the knife that Nick had taped to her leg. She stabbed Cameron.
Sharon knows Cameron is dead and can’t hurt her anymore, but she has been having PTSD. She feels worried about her family. Surprising sounds bother her, and she is afraid to answer the door. Sharon is also struggling with the fact that she killed a man. She is glad that he is gone and would do it over again to save her family, but it is still a difficult thing to get over.
‘The Young and the Restless’ Spoilers: Conquering fear
Sharon gets a package from Cameron’s attorney while Nick is visiting her. Inside there are strange gifts from Cameron. Sharon realizes that she wants to burn it all, to get rid of Cameron for good. The one surprising gift that she does not burn is the letter bequeathing Cameron’s company to her.
While she wants to get rid of all things Cameron, she decides that it is time to get over fear. One way to do that is to do something amazing with what Cameron left her. She wants to use it for good. There are many unknowns, but if the company is doing well, she could keep it and give the profits to charity. She might sell the whole company and give the proceeds to charity.
Sharon realizes she can turn this around by seeking to do something good with what he left her. She won’t feel fearful by what he left because she is going to turn it into positive action. She realizes that doing good for others is going to give her purpose and meaning.
Nick has a lot of business experience and has now been kicked out of Newman Enterprises by his sister, Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle). Will he be a help to Sharon in her new enterprise? Do you think he will help oversee this new company that Sharon has acquired? Will he also embrace this new purpose of Sharon’s for himself, and will they start this journey together? Will this lead them back into a relationship?
