A man in New York assaulted a woman on the subway as she pleaded out for help and no one did a thing. Rather than stepping in to help, people recorded the incident on their phones and just looked away. The man in tight black pants and a cropped white jacket grabbed a woman by her hair and forcibly pulled her down next to him.
She called out for help, saying, “someone please help me,” yet no one moved a muscle. After he was done, he pulled her up and pushed her toward the door and began kicking out windows.

While it seems obvious that this man was probably on something, the shocking thing to many is that no one was willing to stand up to this bully who didn’t seem afraid to assault this woman in front of everyone in public. What gives a man like that the confidence to do that without getting hit or at least yelled at to stop and leave her alone?
It’s a shocking video and one that many will find strange and disappointing. As Sky News Australia host Rita Panahi describes, it seems to be a sign of ‘societal decay’. Thankfully, the woman wasn’t beaten or harmed and was able to go home, but what if she hadn’t been so lucky?
It seems that our society is perfectly okay with the bad guys running rampant. They can steal, assault and get away with anything. Just don’t be mean to them or you could find yourself cancelled or even jailed! It’s a very unsettling scene and one that we hope will not happen often in the future. Unless we change, this will continue to happen more and more.
