New emails reveal Prince Andrew and Jeffrey Epstein’s friendship lasted longer than he admitted. It’s highly probable that Andrew may have lied in his infamous Newsnight interview.

Prince Andrew And Epstein’s Friendship Continued Two Months After He Said It Ended

Prince Andrew claimed he had stopped spending time with and corresponding with the known sex offender, but their relationship continued two months after the Duke of York said it did.

The disgraced Prince insisted that the last time he saw Epstein was in December 2010, shortly after he was released from prison for child prostitution offenses.

The resurfaced emails show the two of them chatted over email at least until late February 2011.

Andrew and Epstein communicated on the day a scandalous photo came out of Andrew and 17-year-old Virginia Giuffre, who later claimed she had been sex trafficked by Epstein. She later claimed she was forced to have sex with Andrew.

In one email, Andrew told Epstein,

“Keep in close touch, and we’ll play some more soon!”

Giuffre sued the Prince, and Andrew reportedly paid thirteen million pounds to settle out of court.

To this day, Prince Andrew denies any wrongdoing on his part. In November 2019, Andrew was interviewed by Emily Maitlis on BBC’s Newsnight, and she specifically asked Andrew about his association with Epstein,

“Was that visit, December 2010, the only time you saw him after he was convicted?”

    Andrew answered,

    “Yes. Yeah.”

    She asked him,

“Did you ever see him or speak to him again?”

    To which he responded,

    “No.”

Andrew claimed his visit to see Epstein was to inform him they could no longer be. He told Maitlis that he went for a walk in New York’s Central Park with Epstein, and they mutually determined it wasn’t appropriate for them to continue their friendship.

Emails Show Jes Staley And Epstein Were In Cahoots

The Financial Conduct Authority shared these emails as they defended an appeal by Jes Staley. Staley is the former group chief executive of Barclays.

He was prohibited from participating in the UK banking industry and banned from holding any senior City role. He “recklessly misled” the regulator by having the bank’s board minimize his relationship with Epstein.

The FCA claims that Staley “did not have a close relationship with Epstein.” However, the emails tell a different story. In the past, Staley has referred to Epstein as “family” and “Uncle Jeffrey.”

It has been purported that Epstein helped arrange meetings and career opportunities for Staley.

Andrew’s name wasn’t in the legal filing. However, he is referred to as “a member of the British royal family.”

One correspondence in June 2010 involved a “member of the British royal family,” apparently, Epstein asked a favor, “If you can find time to show Jes around with Vera, that would be fun.”

Epstein and Staley also emailed each other concerning matters of a sexual nature. Other court documents disclose that they knew each other and Epstein arranged for them to meet often.

In August 2019, Epstein was found dead in his cell at a federal prison where he was awaiting trial on sex trafficking charges. The death was ruled as an apparent suicide.
