After spending years in prison for a crime he did not commit, Raphael Rowe now goes around the world and volunteers himself to go behind bars in some of the most dangerous prisons in the world. In the newest season, he will be going to the Philippines, Greenland, and South Africa.

The official trailer is out now and it looks like Rowe might have found some of the most dangerous prisons yet, where inmates run rampant and the guards have no control. However, perhaps most eerie of all is a prison that resembles a sort of dormitory where the inmates live comfortably.

Check out the official trailer below that was uploaded with the following caption,

Because the last season was pretty bad! (Season 1, because they reversed the order and started with the good host Raphael in s2, 3 and 4.)”, “I wonder how the camera man came out of the world’s toughest prison” and “Yayy finally can’t waitt anymore!”.

The new season of ‘Inside the World’s Toughest Prisons’ releases on January 8.
