Netflix’s ‘The Midnight Sky’ has a final trailer out before its release this month and the film looks just as chilling as it did before. It stars George Clooney, a lonely scientist in the Arctic as he tries to stop astronauts from returning to Earth where an apocalyptic event has occurred.

Clooney directs this adaptation of the acclaimed novel, Good Morning, Midnight and you can view the final trailer below.

“This post-apocalyptic tale follows Augustine (George Clooney), a lonely scientist in the Arctic, as he races to stop Sully (Felicity Jones) and her fellow astronauts from returning home to Earth, where a mysterious global catastrophe has taken place. Clooney directs the adaptation of Lily Brooks-Dalton’s acclaimed novel Good Morning, Midnight, co-starring David Oyelowo, Kyle Chandler, Demián Bichir and Tiffany Boone. Coming to Netflix December 23rd.”

Viewers are looking forward to watching this intense film and commented, “Crazy theory: Felicity Jones’s character is actually George Clooney’s daughter.”, “Looks fan-freaking-tastic”, “My jaw dropped. This trailer alone is like a whole mini movie. Then you hear Clooney’s voice at the end. I hope it was just a misdirection because for sound to travel in space could take years. It’s possible the events of Clooney and the child were years behind, and the rescue team is 10+ yrs in the future receiving the distress call late. That’s probably why the distress call was teased in the trailer as a misdirection.” and “The book is amazinggggg. I hope that the movie would be amazing too.”.
