Netflix’s ‘The Witcher’ flashes us back to a simpler time. Back before we were in quarantine and humming ‘Toss A Coin To Your Witcher’ for hours. It was a massive success for Netflix, and some even compared it to HBO’s enormous series, ‘Game of Thrones’ which is quite impressive!
I thoroughly enjoyed the first season of ‘The Witcher’ and anxiously await to see more. Henry Cavill personified Geralt of Rivia very well and the sword fights, magic, and characters were top notch. It’s a series that holds the stories from both books and games very well and knows where and when to use them. It’s a beautiful melding of the two and things just clicked.
Now, it’s just been revealed that ‘The Witcher’ will be getting a prequel series! Check out the news below from IGN’s Instagram that was uploaded with the following caption,
“The six-part live-action show will focus on how the first Witcher was created.”
