Over a year after it released, Eric Andre’s ‘Bad Trip’ is coming to Netflix. The film is one big prank to see how many unsuspecting people Andre, Lil Rel Howery, and Tiffany Haddish can shock. From the creators of ‘Jackass’ and ‘Bad Grandpa’, the hidden camera film follows two friends as they go on a cross-country road trip.

While this is nothing new, the unique humor of Eric Andre sets this film apart for many people. You can see the trailer below that was uploaded with the following description,

“Real pranks. Real People. Real Movie. From one of the guys that brought you Jackass and Bad Grandpa, this hidden camera comedy follows two best friends as they go on a cross-country road trip full of hilarious, inventive pranks, pulling its real-life audience into the mayhem. Bad Trip stars Eric Andre, Lil Rel Howery, Tiffany Haddish and Michaela Conlin. Directed by Kitao Sakurai.”

While the film is over a year old, there are a ton of people who are unaware of this film as it released during the quarantine. With a release to Netflix, there’s a good chance it’ll blow up and see a huge payoff.

As someone who’s on the fence about it, I may check it out. Andre has some fantastic bits, but there are a lot that doesn’t pay off for me. However, if you’re a fan of his, you’ve probably already seen this. It’ll be interesting to see how many general comedy fans this film will reach now.
