As with most Netflix releases, you’ll get to binge the whole season on release day if you want. We’ll be looking forward to what happens. It ended with a massive burn for new character Cayetana Grajera Pando (Georgina Amorós). She was exposed as a fraud, faking a rich girl lifestyle while also using an alleged charity event as a money-making opportunity. There’s sure to be some fallout ahead. But there’s something even more dramatic on the way.

Recent reports hint there might be a massive shakeup ahead. It seems this season might be the last with the original cast. An article on Pop Buzz suggests a massive cast overhaul. As in, this will likely be the last season we’ll see the characters we have come to know. The report originated on a Spanish news site, Fuera de Series. It seems that season 4 and 5, which have already been confirmed, will have all new people to follow. There’s little known right now about this, so the possibilities are endless.
It’s not the first time this was done, though. At least, on some level. Saved by the Bell kept going after the entire main student cast graduated. Beverly Hills 90210 came back years later with all new student as well, although both series did have a couple original characters involved. Both series managed to carry on for years after their mass departures. Can Elite do the same? We’ll have to wait and see.
Netflix Elite Spoilers: Double blow
For fans of Telenovelas, this news might come as a double blow. Danna Paola, who plays Lucrecia “Lu” Montesinos Hendrich on the series recently said goodbye to another part. She also plays Mónica Hernández on La Doña (Lady Altagracia). Fans of the series were sad to see Mónica die after an attack by one of her mother’s enemies. In fact, her commitment to Elite season 3 was cited as a reason she had a limited appearance. We’ll be following closely for official confirmation and any further developments.
