NBC ‘Days of Our Lives’ (DOOL) spoilers reveal Paige Larson (True O’Brien) is back. Now, Salem’s made a habit of bringing people back from the dead. But after seeing the teasers for August 25th and thinking on Ciara Brady’s (Victoria Konefal) reported future? We have another idea. Let’s take a look at the possibilities.
NBC ‘Days of Our Lives’ Spoilers: The return
So, Eve Donovan (Kassie DePaiva) took a real super villain-level turn when she came back to Salem. ‘Days of Our Lives’ spoilers reveal she had a Dr. Wilhelm Rolf (William Utay) protégé backing her as she put Ben Weston (Robert Scott Wilson) through torture, brainwashing, and manipulated things behind the scenes.
We still think the real deal would have done a better job, and faster. But what can you expect when you have to settle for the student, rather than the master?
Even with the limitations, the job’s gotten done. Ben’s all dosed up and a complete puppet. Last we saw him and Ciara, he’d brought her to Paige’s old dorm room.
This move obviously, and rightfully, freaked her out. We’ve already said we expect to see Ciara fighting like Hell to get her man back from the brink when he strikes, but might there be something else that determines her fate?

On Monday, Paige appeared to Eve at the graveyard. We’d heard stories about the actress coming back, but it wasn’t clear how she was returning. As in, did Salem have another return from the great beyond? After watching Monday’s episode, reading the teasers, and thinking on what lies ahead?
We don’t believe it’s the real deal. We think Eve is seeing Paige’s ghost, and this is going to be a huge deciding factor in the story going forward. If this is so, it somewhat keeps Eve from being an irredeemable witch that needs to rot in Statesville.
NBC ‘Days of Our Lives’ Spoilers: The future
So, ‘Days of Our Lives’ spoilers hint that Ben will wake with Ciara nowhere to be found. This makes us wonder if Eve has a change of heart. If this is Paige’s spirit visiting her, we can’t imagine her wanting an innocent woman to die just to get some twisted idea of justice. Our bet? Paige will talk her mother out of this insane plan, but Eve won’t go along with this completely.
Thinking on it, we’re pretty sure Eve will either go to the dorm or have her lackey do it. That will depend on whether the Salem PD catches up to her in time, as talk online suggests she might face justice. Either way, we think whoever goes to the dorm will take Ben by surprise and knock him out. Then, they’ll take Ciara and leave Ben to believe he harmed his love.
The pain Eve wants Ben to experience, plus no blood on her hands. In some ways, this could be a worse fate for Ben, especially if we don’t see the character back, either with Konefal in the part or someone else. Ben will be left to suffer not knowing Ciara’s fate. To wait and hope, but get nowhere. Now, that’s a real misery.
