NBC ‘Days of Our Lives’ (DOOL) spoilers finds that Jake Lambert (Brandon Barash) just told Gwen Davies (Emily O’Brien) that Chad DiMera (Billy Flynn) was “way too rich, and way too married” to get involved with the likes of her. I don’t know about you, but I died laughing at that point.
If we didn’t already know that Jake was new to the DiMera game then this would be confirmation. He thinks that Chad DiMera, son of Stefano DiMera (Originated by Joseph Mascolo, played again in 2019 by Stephen Nichols), is fine upstanding married man and won’t stoop to cheating on Abigail if given half a chance.

Now granted, as far as DiMera’s go, Chad has been the one who, doesn’t have as many teeth as say, Kristen. Kristen, who, by the way isn’t even a DiMera by blood, but rather an adopted child of Stefano’s. Still he is a DiMera and as prone to vices as any other member of the bloodline.
Before you say I’m not being fair to Chad, let’s face it, even Lexi Carver, arguably the most upstanding member of the DiMera clan was prone to doing shady things. I mean, come on. So thinking that Chad is immune?
Wow Jake, here we all thought you were so streetsmart and wise, and you just proved your naivete by that statement. Wow. Also, Stefano had a stable full of ladies, so if he did some cheating then he’d just be following in Daddy’s footsteps.
Although seriously, Gwen gave it all away by saying that when she and Chad kissed, that he liked it. We all know where this is going, if Chad likes it, then chances are he’s going to come back for more. It doesn’t matter if wifey Abigail DiMera (Marci Miller) did just walk back in, looking like a completely different person with blonde hair.
Chad thought he had a couple of months to play around and get with Gwen and then go back to being the “fine upstanding married man” later by going back to Abigail when she was fully healed. But nope! She just rained all over his parade by coming back unexpectedly.
Does this mean that he and Gwen are going to start sneaking around? Probably. Does this mean that the voices in Abigail’s head told her to dye her hair blonde? Maybe! Stay tuned!!!
