NBC ‘Days of Our Lives’ (DOOL) spoilers reveal the custody case just gets worse by the day. And, as usual, it’s Sami Brady’s (Alison Sweeney) fault. Let’s take a look at what she’s been up to and why it’s bringing Sami into the land of irredeemable. Plus, we’ll take a look at why this story is getting so ridiculous.
NBC ‘Days of Our Lives’ Spoilers: Unfit
As this thing goes on, ‘Days of Our Lives’ spoilers prove more by the day Sami is the unfit one here, no matter what sins of Nicole Walker’s (Arianne Zucker) past she dredges up. She has been going out of her way to paint her own daughter, Allie Horton (Lindsay Arnold), as not right in her right mind.
She’s ignored every single thing Allie said to her, and is shamelessly going against Allie’s wishes. She betrayed her twin by spilling the murder secret Eric Brady (Greg Vaughan) shared, was hateful to John Black (Drake Hogestyn), and put Belle Black (Martha Madison) in an uncomfortable position.
Not to mention how her actions impacted Will Horton (Chandler Massey). With each instance, she doesn’t think before she acts. And she doesn’t learn either. This time, she really went too far.
NBC ‘Days of Our Lives’ Spoilers: Crossing the line
So, this whole time Sami has been essentially stepping all over her family to get what she believes is her right. Namely, to raise Baby Boy Horton. Even though her daughter emphatically said more than once she wants Sami to have no part in that baby’s life.
She even left a note, which the judge was about to use to give Nicole and Eric custody. Sami couldn’t have that, so she greased some wheels to get Jan Spears (Heather Lindell) released from Shady Pines. She needed someone to back up Victor Kiriakis’ (John Aniston) testimony. And from what we’ve seen, it seems Nicole did, in fact, do what she’s being accused of. But here’s the problem.
Watching Jan a couple of days now makes us see she is not as “sane” as she claims. And Sami likely knows that. She seriously had to get Jan back on track during her testimony more than once. Worse yet? We didn’t see Last Blast Reunion, but it seems the show really lived up to the name.
From what we saw today, it seems Jan tried to blow up Belle after kidnapping Shawn Brady (Brandon Beemer). And this only happened a couple of months ago! The very idea Sami would unleash a potential threat to her sister’s life, as well as her brother-in-law, is beyond forgiveness. And when she does it while another family member is missing, and one’s in a coma in the hospital?
It’s pretty much the most classless, selfish act we think we’ve seen in a long time. We think Belle has every right to be angry, and should seriously just write off Sami for good. Obviously, Sami will never learn her lesson and she’s just toxic to the family.
NBC ‘Days of Our Lives’ Spoilers: Over the top
However, there is something almost as bad. ‘Days of Our Lives’ spoilers reveal this court case is a sideshow and the judge is the ringleader. At first, we liked her. She was very firm, yet fair in the courtroom and put Sami in her place when she stepped out of line. But things went way out of control.
The judge was ready to make her ruling, but Sami threw out a curveball at the last second. Okay, we can almost understand her reasoning if Sami really does have something legit to say and isn’t aware of procedure. But after Victor’s testimony wasn’t really backed up, she was ready to rule again.
Then Sami pulled another fast one. Despite the ruling coming down, Sami called yet another witness: Jan. The judge actually allowed this. Seriously? Obviously, Sami had this in the works early enough. When the judge called for a recess to rule, Sami should have made it clear she has another witness.
Then, she blatantly ignored two instances of clear “leading the witness”. This made the whole thing sound more like a joke than a legal proceeding. And the “drama” is getting more laughable than anything at this point.
